I started taking singing lessons 2.5 years ago and I have tried 3 teachers so far, without seeing any improvements. I am not going to get into details, but as I am consistent and dedicated with my practice and I genuinely want to improve, I began searching for other teachers. I came across this YouTube vocal coach's website, and my jaw dropped seeing her prices. She seems knowledgeable, but hasn't worked with any major artists (or coached anyone on their way to major success so far). I could've imagined someone like Seth Riggs charging these kind of prices and now I'm thinking that if lesser known singing teachers charge this much, how much would a lesson with him be 😅.
Anyway, I'm wondering how much could you possibly get out of only one lesson to justify that price, but I'm also wondering if you guys have any recommendations? I'd go up to $600 an hour and I'd prefer online. I am based in UK.

You lose and they get the plug which ultimately causes them to win. You lost that cash out because you won the vault fight.

Hi, There is a severe cold front in Northern America into the negatives. Currently it feels like -9 outside. However, my 6 month old border collie/lab/retriever mix never wants to come back in. She was out for about 30 minutes today. Normally, I have been only letting her out to do her business and back in. But today she didn’t want to come back in. I check on her every 5-10 minutes and stand/sit at the door to wait for her. Or I sit by the window she likes to go to. She was happily prancing around in the yard when I called her in and she finally decided to come in. I checked her over and she was happy as a clam…and wanted to go back out, I obviously didn’t let her. We have a fenced in yard so I’m not afraid of her escaping, when she wants in she usually jumps on the door or window to alert me (which I was sitting by waiting for her to want to come in). We are expecting weather to stay this consistent temperature and she is going to get bored. I don’t mind letting her outside but I don’t want her to get frostbite. If she seems ok, is it ok for her to stay out longer?

Today as much of the Southeastern US, the ground outside is covered in snow. I havent golfed in 2-weeks, so the only natural way to scratch that itch was to finally pull the trigger on that new set of Takomo Irons!!
I went with the 101Ts as a 19.3 HCP golfer. Added a 1/2" went 2 degrees upright. The email said custom clubs could take about 4-8 weeks. Anyone have any better lead time than 2 months?
Cant wait to figure out my new distances and how to swing clubs that actually fit me.

I’ve been with my husband for almost 3 years, married for almost a year. There’s been a few occasions where I’ve noticed some questionable behaviour particularly on his phone. I don’t go through his phone, this would just be if I used it and an app happened to be open or something.
First was a few months before the wedding, I opened his phone right in front of him and Snapchat was open, and there was just loads of chats with random girls names. I asked who they were and he couldn’t have taken the phone out of my hand quicker if he’d tried. Then he deleted his Snapchat account and the app itself and was adamant that someone had made an account in his name and he was trying to get to the bottom of it, now that I’ve just written that I realise how pathetic it sounds that I actually believed it 😂
Second time was when he’d ’accidentally’ added a girl on Facebook and messaged her saying something along the lines of ‘hey sorry I didn’t mean to add you hahah’ and she said it was fine so he responded with ‘aha thanks, didn’t want you or the wife thinking I’m dodgy’ Why not just cancel the friend request if you didn’t mean to add her, strange but whatever, bare in mind we were literally just married at this point not to mention I was like 6 months pregnant
Now our baby is 6 months, I had a random message from a girl about a month ago asking why my husband had been weird towards her on Facebook messenger. She sent me screenshots, she was selling some baby items so he had messaged about them and she said if your wife ever needs a friend in the area tell her to reach out! So he said thank you, then 3 hours later said ‘your little one is so cute’ then blocked her? Wtf?! So weird. When I asked him wtf that was about he said he blocked her because he didn’t want her to think he was weird, well messaging her then blocking her is fucking weird sorry?
Now going back to the first incident on Snapchat, as far as I’m aware he’s never reopened a Snapchat account since then. However tonight he comes up on my suggested friends on Snapchat.. it’s definitely him as it says he’s in my contacts and it’s literally his name. So he can’t use the whole ‘someone’s made an account in my name’ story this time.
My question is how to play this, because each time this has happened I’ve never had any solid proof enough to tell him where to go, I love him so much and I thought we were really happy but if he’s done anything untoward then that’s unforgivable in my eyes and yes even if it’s just messaging, it’s still unfaithful. I know if I confront him about it now I’m going to just get ‘I only just made it I was gonna tell you’ so do I leave it for a few days before I mention it so I can make it known that I’m aware it’s been set up for a while? Would it be shitty to somehow try and look on his phone? My Face ID is on there, which was his suggestion however he never leaves his phone ever. It’s always on him or in his pocket so slim chance of me being able to anyway.
It’s just shitty that he knows I’m struggling with my body image etc since having a baby, he’s never affectionate towards me since I gave birth so I know deep down he doesn’t find me attractive anymore but if he’s wanting to go elsewhere he should just leave and not do it behind my back because that’s so much more hurtful.

There's news stories but they're not all reporting the same story... so, who knows. I find it so odd that between customers & employees, finding anyone to tell their version of events OR provide footage is basically impossible. The police presence was insane. It's not a small mall by any means... so surely someone that was visiting there will see this & may chime in? But employees... they were obviously there.

I was reading Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis and Development by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and I came across something really interesting about patriarchy in India—or Brahminical patriarchy, as Uma Chakravarti calls it..Brahminical patriarchy refers to a system in Hindu society where men control women to keep the caste system intact. This control ensures that "bloodlines" remain pure through endogamy, According to Dr. Ambedkar endogamy is what defines caste itself. He wrote, "Endogamy is the only characteristic that is peculiar to caste."
He explained that in any group, there is usually a rough balance between the number of men and women. But this balance doesn’t always exist because people don’t die at the same time, and gender equality isn’t common in societies. In groups trying to maintain a caste, this balance is even more important because they must keep endogamy alive. If members don’t have enough partners within the group, they might marry outside it, threatening the system.
So this creates a problem of "Surplus" men and women The caste system faces a specific issue: what to do when there are "surplus" men or women (widows or widowers). A woman becomes a "surplus woman" when her husband dies before her. If she can’t remarry within the caste, she might marry outside it, which breaks endogamy. Similarly, when a wife dies before her husband, he becomes a "surplus man." If he remarries outside the caste, it also violates the rules of endogamy.
How Hindu Society Handles Surplus Women Historically, Hindu society dealt with widows (or surplus women) in brutal ways:
- Sati: widow was burned alive on her husband’s funeral pyre. This ensured she wouldn’t remarry outside the caste or "cause competition" for other women in the group
- Forced Widowhood: widows were banned from remarrying and had to live in isolation. While this was seen as a less extreme alternative to sati, it came with its own horrors—loneliness, societal rejection, and being treated as an outcast
- Celibacy: Widowers were encouraged to remain celibate, but this wasn’t practical for many men and didn’t benefit the caste group’s size or strength.
- Child Marriage: The most common solution was marrying the widower to a young girl within the caste, ensuring the group’s size and morals stayed intact.

looking to build a Mini-ITX but stressed about getting components that will all fit, so i'm hoping to outsource a bit. I've done one other build but went with a mammoth sized case at the time (huge mistake, just on a quality of life level) and so now I can't even stand to look at a computer, so here are the requirements:
-case fits the RX 580 sapphire -uses the 9800x3D chip (may wind up getting one of the 9900 or 9950s however) -looks pretty, ideally case has wooden features. Used as home theatre set up so will be prominently placed. -needs wi-fi, whether through the MoBo or a SATA add-on or whatever -Has at least 2 usb ports
