Idk. Not really a question. I just don't feel comfortable making posts in trans subs since I think it's ambiguous whether I count as trans.
I don't think this desire to look like a woman is ever going to go away. But at the same time I don't mind looking like a guy most of time. Plus there are a lot of advantages to being a guy. So I'm really unsure whether hrt is a good idea or not. It's something I think about almost every day. But there are lots of moments where I think why do I want to do that?. In some moments I even sort of like looking like a guy. And don't think I really care about pronouns and that sort of thing. Of course, it's possible a lot of those sorts of desires are very repressed and it would make me really happy to not only look like a woman but also socially be seen as one. Dozens of gender swapped photos of myself have accumulated on my phone over time. When I look at a lot of them it makes me really want to look like that even if they're sort of ugly looking. But some of them are really hideous looking and I definitely would rather look like a man than a monster. Sometimes thinking about trans stuff makes me cry. In particular, I can get really jealous of trans women that pass really well. Idk. Hrt just seems like a crazy decision if I know I don't need it to have good mental health. Like if I were to do it would be entirely for self actualization and not some lower down need. And there are so many potential consequences...

Hi Folks,
I am involved in scientific research and have been trying to design a capacitive sensor. The sensor uses conductive filament. My issue currently is that the connection method previously used is very poor. They basically sandwich a wire between magnets and run it to an arduino board. The capacitive filament has a 3D case that presses its own magnet to the filament, so when the magnets connect it is conductive.
I have come up with some ideas, like using a 3.5 mm socket, but the project leader is very insistent on the easy to remove nature of the magnets, despite this causing stability issues. Any ideas? Since it is meant to detect mice I need the device to be very sensitive, so need I believe I need low resistance from the board to the capacitive filament.
Thanks in advance for any advice. I am a biochemist by training working in a behavior based lab, where I have picked up responsibilities of coding and designing this sensor, so definitely ignorant in this field.

Power went out last night and upon returning this morning, I’m getting error code 5, control board. I’ve done all the usual checking the sensors and doing a thorough clean, but it will not start up. The igniter glows, but the fan nor the auger come on. When I reset it, the board version displays “version 000.00”.
My question is about replacement boards. If I can find one for this stove, it’s $420! I’ve seen one on eBay but is there an aftermarket replacement or another I can cross replace with for cheaper instead of the SRV7093-050?

I had advanced cataract surgery today. (Astigmatism reduction with femptosecond laser, toric lens implant (iol), correction of distance vision without total dependence on glasses)
I'd had a blue haze in my left eye. Today they did my left eye. Although my distance vision is pretty good now, I still have the blue haze/ some haloing. Is this normal ? It's the blue haze I had/ have both before and after the surgery that concerns me. I'm scheduled for the other CLEAR eye to be done in a week but if this haze doesn't clear up I may very well cancel. I've been thinking about it, and maybe people paperhanding selling isn't so bad after all. Most, if not all, of us have at least one million PEPE coins. I have a hard time believing that the coin can shoot up to make most of the community millionaires overnight. The amount of sales to get out or convert to other crypto would be astronomical and would crash the coin. This is why I don't believe PEPE will hit a penny anytime soon. We need to go through multiple cycles to get the average amount of tokens per wallet down. What do you guys think? I feel that a penny will be possible in two to three years, but I am in no way an expert.
