Hey all I last saw Hadestown about 5 years ago. Admittedly it was not my favorite (had a hard time following the story) but I did love the music and my husband now has an interest in seeing it. I would like to give it another try now that I’ve had a few years to develop my tastes further. I’m pretty sad I missed the last cast with Jordan Fisher - full price tickets were too expensive and never ended up winning the lottery.
My question is, should I see it now (over the next few weeks) with the current cast or wait until after 2/18 when Daniel Breaker and Merle Dandridge join the cast? Not sure how the current Hermes and Persephone are.
Also side note question: how is Tom Hewitt as Hades? I’ve only ever seen Patrick Page who was unreallll with that voice! Does Tom Hewitt have a similar type of voice / interpretation of the role?

There is a new video posted at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZYy02X7zJY on Gallium Maltoate. They show mouse research combining it with radiation, which looks really good. The clinical trial doesn't allow it to be used during radiation, but there is an expanded access program for recurrent glioblastomas, where it MIGHT be possible (your doctor has to approve of it) to combine re-irradiation with Gallium Maltoate. So if you are thinking about re-irradiation for recurrent gbm, it might be worth showing this to your doctor and asking about it. I do not think it has been done before in people - so this is risky - but when you are thinking about re-irradiation you probably do not have many options. Gallium Matolate without radiation has been used in a lot of people and has been shown to be safe, and early results show it helps some people.
Disclaimer: I am a board member of the parent company of the company developing this drug and I am helping to fund the expanded access program!

I've had this avic avic for almost 3 years. When it molts it chews them up so I've not been able to get a molt in good enough condition to sex. I'm not great at ventral sexing so I'm asking for opinions. I was able to get pictures of Teddy's undercarriage after rehousing into a larger enclosure. Teddy was sold to me as a confirmed male, however, I have bought "confirmed" females in the past that end up hooking out, lol.

 | So we have a lamp with 3 bulbs in a corner of our living room but unfortunately it does not light the whole living room well. Ceiling light isn’t an option. sorry for the very niche request, this is a HUGE ask!
I work at a school, and my 2004 Toyota Camry is in need of its infamous valve cover gasket job -- at 195k miles, it is leaking oil from the block and making a smelly mess.
Not only do I work at a school, but this is my only vehicle and I am the only driver amongst my roommate and I. I am hoping to take my car to a shop friday afternoon and have it ready by work on monday morning, but I know many shops tend to close over the weekend. I was thinking of taking the metro back home since I live walking distance from a stop, so after I drop off my car at a shop, I would want to walk to a metro stop to take to my stop.
If I had a garage space where I lived, and tools to do it, I would try it myself, but I can't under my circumstances. I know the part is cheap, and if you know what you're doing, the job shouldn't take no more than 1-2 hours. It isn't too much of a laborious job, but still something that may take multiple days if waiting on parts to come in or the car to be on queue.
I can't really take days off at the school I work at, so I need to sacrifice my only mode of transportation when I'm not working. The school I work at doesn't have any close metro stops, otherwise I would be fine taking it to a shop during the week,

Went to the ReStore to donate some items and took a look around. Found this for $54 out the door after tax. It was already together, but complete in box with the extra pieces and all. Would have taken the receipt for proof, but I was so happy I didn't even think of it.
I've always wanted a LEGO City with a train being the main theme since I was a kid. Perhaps now is the time.
