2025.01.22 18:59 protr Simple device to stream to projector?
I want to watch files on my old 720p projector and start/stop them from that projector room with a remote or my phone. I am sick of connecting a laptop. I don't want any streaming services or anything else.
I would have a plex media server on my main computer.
What's the best option for a device to do this? Simple to use and cheap are preferred, i am capable of setting up something more complicated if the price matches though

The Elevation model I got did not come with the package with a HUD (afaik), but every time I turn on the car I get little red triangles where the HUD would be on the windshield and it seems like the the display is physically THERE, just not turned on. Is there some sort of secret code to turn it on, as I don't seem to even have the button anywhere.

2025.01.22 18:59 No_Clock_9781 10° difference between upstairs and downstairs.
I have a dual zoned HVAC system with two Honeywell motorized actuators for the dampers. I also have two core thermostats one upstairs and one down. I've had two professionals come out to try and remedy the situation however I still have a 10° difference between floors. The first professional came out and installed a manual damper to help with airflow. The second professional came out and set one of the actuators to 3, which seems as though it has diminished air flow to The farthest bedroom from the unit. I don't know what to do at this point. I keep calling people out yet I'm not getting a resolution. Looking for advice. Thanks again

Been in B4 and a couple of mid size firms for the past 10 years, working in state and local tax the entire time. I have income tax consulting/compliance (corporate and PTE), sales tax compliances/consulting, M&A SALT due diligence, a bit of property tax and unclaimed property experience. I'm getting increasingly burnt out and would input on a potential SALT specific solo practice.
I have the following concerns, among the other general concerns about running an independent practice:
- I have no federal return prep experience, I know my way around one and a TB but have never prepped or reviewed one. I don't know how many potential clients are out there that would want state prep without federal prep.
- I do not do individual income tax returns. I have prepped and reviewed hundreds of C Corp, S Corp, partnership, pass-through entity tax returns but it seems like a lot of solo practices focus on individuals.

Hello I submitted my b1/b2 renew application on 23rd Dec in mumbai as drop box..due to long delay in processing in withdrew my application on 14th Jan as I had to return to Dubai where I live.. I followed up with embassy many times where passport is and today saw the status as rejected. Do they reject visa if you withdraw? I still have not got passport back yet. Please advise.
I have lived in US for 5 years under L1 visa , my sister is still in US and I visit every year and i don’t understand why I was rejected.

Hello,
I’ve been experiencing recurring pharyngitis every 4 to 5 weeks, and I’m hoping someone can help me figure this out. I get white patches you get with tonsillitis, pharyngitis, strep etc... I feel tired, and if I don’t clean my tonsils with like salt water, I end up with a fever. It usually lasts 4 to 6 days.
I've been tested for mono but i'm negative plus it wouldn't come back that fast, i've seen a dentist and nothing, a doctor and an ENT and they told me to drink and sleep well ._. so yeah... the ENT said they don't take out tonsils for pharyngitis..
I don’t think it’s GERD because it happens one after the other, like the first stops fighting whatever it is, then the next starts. FYI it stopped for like a year when i got vaccinated for COVID idk why ? is it related to my immune system ?
I'm thinking of having them lasered, but if you have any suggestion before I do that it would help me a lot.
