An insurance agent from our bank has offered one of my family members a life insurance policy that costs $30,000 yearly. The family member is around 75 years old, and the insurance payout is $650,000 when the family member passes away due to natural causes.
This seems like a giant scam because it is expensive as hell, and only covers death caused by natural causes, and not deaths due to accidents or injury. However, the family member is considering it because the agent told the family member a bunch of BS about tax benefits and estate planning by getting the insurance.
Does this policy actually have merit and how do I convince the family member to not take it if it is a bad deal?

i don't want my brain to think the things it does. i wish i could just shut everything down and restart. i was SA'd as a child and i can't stop thinking about it to this day. i imagine myself as a child, reliving the molestation, and it does something for me. i'd never wish what happened to me, on my worst enemy, so why does the remembering and creating new thoughts of it happening to my child self feel good??? the amount of scenarios i play out in my head throughout my day could fill a book, and it gets to the point where i can't focus on tasks i need to be doing irl. i have cptsd, and have been to many therapists over the years, and nothing has changed. i keep obsessing over wanting to just be a child, so that the way i act and think doesn't feel so shameful. i feel like a child, i like things children like, so it makes day to day things very difficult. it makes finding a relationship difficult because i want to be viewed as a child, which very obviously complicates things, and i'd never force all that on anyone. i'm just so exhausted, mentally. i can't share these thoughts with anyone in my life, currently, so i post here to alleviate some of the mental load.

 | I was given this sander about 2 weeks ago and it was in pretty rough shape went i got it. For a few examples, it had a few rust spots, lots of hardened clumps of metal shavings, and gunk built up around the belt wheels and and bearings. So for the past couple days, I have decided to try my luck at taking it apart and cleaning it up as well as making a new base for it. How ever i might have ADHDed to close to the sun because last night I went to put everything back together and I don’t know if I missed something or put it back together wrong because, and please excuse if this is hard to understand I am not familiar with the right terms so I’m just gonna try to explain the following, where the belt connects to like a bearing on the body of the sander and goes through the other side to connect to where you put your sanding belt has a lot of like resistance to spinning it doesn’t spin freely and like I said, the resistance causes it not to work properly and shut off I will include some pictures with some arrows and context to try and help. What should I do to try to fix this? Pictures 1-3 are before I took it apart And 4-7 are after I reassembled. I am 6 shots in so far [email protected] and 2@5mg. I haven't had any side effects and have lost 15lbs so far with about 100 to go hopefully. It's amazing how it takes the cravings away. I still need to work on portions when I do eat though. Right now I am eating just twice a day, a meal replacement shake at lunch and then a real meal at dinner time. I have cut out pop completely and just drinking lots of water.

I don't really know how to put it into words, I'll try my best.
I was walking in the street just the other day and I saw a woman with a familiar face, I began having a panic attack (those are pretty frequent) and I had like a flashback. I don't exactly know when this was, I think I was around 7 and in the street alone, I saw a man pushing a woman against a wall and trying to kiss her, eventually he took off his pants and he was trying to muffle the woman's screams. I got really scared, ran to my home and never talked about it. I think I didn't really understand what I saw in the moment even if I knew this wasn't right. I just pushed it aside in my head, until now. I just realised that was a rape. I witnessed a fucking rape. And I did nothing. I could have talked about it but I never had the courage. Now I feel so guilty. I really don't know what to do.
I'm sorry if this isn't clear, english is not my first language, but I really need to know what I can do.
