Hi all! So I redownloaded the game for Caleb (I had stopped pulling a long time ago in hopes he’d come out one day) and once the update dropped I immediately got his myth set. Does anyone know any tips for using it in combat, and what a good combo to use is? I’ll probably rely on Caleb for most of the combat in the game and level up the others later on, so I wanna make sure I’m optimizing him correctly since his playstyle seems very complex and fun

Specifically I want to take dual enrollment calc 3 at a local college but I don’t know if that looks worse than AP statistics which is the other class I could take. Does it matter whether I get college credit at my high school vs college? Thanks in advance!

What a total breath of fresh air. I was so frustrated because I had to give take my dog out and couldn't talk about David Lynch, one of my favorite things to do. Regardless, this show is pure good vibes: it's genuine conversation, doesn't feel like something forced or an economic project, but just two great and funny dudes chatting. Hearing from the other fans was really cool and I want to thank Jared, Joe and McD for putting this together.

I am currently in sober living and Intensive Outpatient. I have almost 90 days clean; graduated from rehab on December 9th.
I also attend 5 12-step meetings a week, and am doing individual therapy, along with working with my sponsor on step work.
I also have submitted my resume numerous places, have done multiple interview, and followed up with said job prospects. I am currently in arrears to my sober living home in the amount of $400.

2025.01.22 19:48 Theflowyo 51mm Basket Input Weight?
Hey all, quick noob question:
Just bought a little tamping and distribution toolset which came with a dosing funnel for my portafilter. However, I am noticing that 17-18g of grinds sort of overflows my 51mm basket, and then I have to finagle removing the funnel and giving it a quick tamp without spilling my grinds in order to get all the grinds into the basket before I am even able to use the leveler.
Is it just a matter of maybe I can only use like a 14g input? Or is this just something I kind of have to deal with when using this smaller basket size?
To be clear, once tamped and everything 18g fits like a glove (19g is definitely too much). It’s just that getting that amount in there is a pain in the ass lol.

2025.01.22 19:48 DirkTheSandman I feel like every future needs me to be the best. I’m not the best. I can’t be the best. Is there even a future for someone who’s just “good enough”?
I don’t want to be the ceo. I don’t want to be famous. I don’t want to be a star, or ultra-rich. Well, i mean, i wouldn’t say “no” to any of those things, but I’m acceptant that they’re unrealistic goals and i can’t be any of them.
Unfortunately, it seems like there’s no room for someone who doesn’t want to give their heart and soul and passion and willpower wholly and completely to their career path. I can’t stand against those who have the strength i don’t. Everyone i ask for advice just says i need to find something and dedicate my existence to that. I don’t want that. That’s not a life I want to live. There’s too much out there to pick one thing and go with it, and i feel like the few things i can dedicate time to don’t create any value; they’re worthless.
I don’t know what to do. I told myself i’ll go back to school and try and do something more worthwhile that maybe i can be good enough to get by on, but i feel like i’m just lying to myself.
I guess some info about me for reference:
30m. USA, PA currently, but I’m definitely not attached to the area and would gladly move. current “career” is IT/CS, but i have no/little passion for it, i just got a degree cause it was something i could do well enough and at the time had the available positions so that someone mediocre like me could get something acceptable. I say in quotations cause ive been out of a job since october and i’m not good enough to get any work. I had my last job for 6 years, but it was entry-level work that paid shit, so it looks awful on my resume. I try and embellish it, but that gets me nowhere. I’m surviving on unemployment at the moment, but when that runs dry, who knows.
I like art, and creating. I like the feeling of being able to put something out into the world, especially something that brings people joy, not just some tool someone needs to do work. Any kind of art really. Music, drawing, writing, but none of that’s anything i could make a living off of, and if i somehow found the motivation to buckle down and actually put everything into striving to make a career out of it, it would destroy any love i have for it i think, not to mention it would be incredibly time consuming and would essentially get me nothing until i mastered it or got extremely lucky.
Idk, i’m sure im just being lazy and entitled and this post’ll get destroyed, but i’m just really at like, zero on the hope scale anymore and I’m desperate for any sort of direction I can head that doesn’t lead to a smoking pile of wreckage at the bottom of a ravine.

When I was diagnosed with GHSV1, I went in to an urgent care clinic for a very painful “yeast infection.” She asked me immediately upon visual exam if I had an std… I was like no definitely not. She swabbed it, came back 5-10 minutes later and said “yeah you have GHSV1.” I was devastated, took antivirals for 10 days, and haven’t had an outbreak since. I recently went to the gyno and she said she has never heard of rapid herpes swab and that it was really unusual. She said exactly what I’ve heard from everyone, that swabs are normally the gold standard… but she said that if it wasn’t sent out to a lab, she has no idea how the doctor could have known that within 10 minutes. I spoke to a second doctor who said the same thing but she also told me not to even bother getting the blood work because it’s so unreliable :/
Has anyone had a rapid swab like this? I’m just confused
