I (F20) Just had an echo today and waiting anxiously on results. It was a weird situation because I could see my heart rate increasing to 110 and they had to ask me repeatedly to take long breathes, I had another person come in and look at it whilst it was happening and they started asking me my symptoms. But as I was leaving they told me they couldn’t tell me anything but I ‘shouldn’t worry too much’. Are they qualified to assess it ? Also I’ve heard people have been told not to worry but the cardiologist still finds something. I’m just worried as they kept having to retake photos and the second person watching threw me off.

I listen to a lot of podcasts and regularly come across the odd host I am unable to listen to because of strong vocal fry and exaggerated intonations. This would seem like a normal thing not to like but… every single host I’ve been annoyed by was a woman (I’m a woman too, btw.) There is also a lot of online material about how hating on vocal fry is sexist. What do you think?

I’m planning on getting my whole car tinted. I was thinking getting my front windshield and front side windows tinted with 70 (here in Vancouver, BC can’t tint front). Then for the back and sunroof I plan to get tinted with 5. I just want to know if 70 is noticeable enough to get pulled over for? I’m fine getting a ticket for it if I was doing something else illegal and they add on the fine, but I don’t want to be getting pulled over every week only because of the tint.

I’ve searched for the answer but no such luck. As the title states, is there a way on PC, to use foot pedal for push to talk, and use my Xbox elite controller for the game without Fortnite thinking I’m using a keyboard whenever I use pedal for comms. Every time I use the pedal I either can’t build while holding it, or other binds don’t work. Thank you for any help.

Good morning all. I work as the IT academic support specialist for a college. Basically my job is developing resources and running supplemental instruction sessions for classes in the IT department. One of those classes I deal with is the ITP-100 Software design class. The class is an introduction to the broad and general concepts of programming so dealing with the likes of declaring/updating variables, building functions, being introduced to the idea of classes and objects, populating lists, working with strings, etc. Basically "Introduction to programming". For reference the class uses python for the actual coding assignments.
One of the the projects I've been asked to complete is a review of a proposal for a mid-term project. Now I will say upfront that I think having a mid-term project is a good idea for this class. The material is delivered via a system called ZyBooks and while ZyBooks does a good job explaining each concept, it never provides an opportunity for the students to use the concepts for something of their own conception. The exercises will certainly demonstrate what it means to declare, call, and update a variable, but without the students actually doing something with that information it's no different then a collection of data from Bio-Chem or history. Hence why I think the project is a good idea.
Now here is the point where I find myself: I am not convinced that the project can be completed with in the scope of topics the students are expected to have covered by the mid-point of the semester. So I was hoping I could throw the write up for the project up here, include a list of the topics the class will have covered by the half way point, and see if someone can prove me wrong about the project not being completable.
Here is the write up for the project:
- Display a welcome message showing your establishment name and brief description of the type of business this is.
- Show what you sell (3-5 different things with associated prices)
- Ask if people want to order something/ order more things.
- Accept selections including quantity of each item ordered.
- Show the things ordered, quantity ordered, individual price and extended price.
- Allow to order more things or finish order
- Calculate 6.25% sales tax
- Show final order items, quantity, individual price and extended price on one line for each item ordered
- Show total items ordered, total net amount, sales tax amount with label of 6.25%. and total amount due.
- Ask user to press enter to accept order and finish program.
But when I started thinking about how to meet the requirements of the projects, and then looking at the lesson plans for the class... well that is where I'm concerned.
By the time of the mid-term the class will have covered the following topics in the class:
- Basic computing concepts and systems
- Problem analysis and algorithmic thinking
- introduction to python
- Variables and Expressions
- Branching
- Loops
- Functions
So.. yeah. Am I over-reacting and not seeing a way to do this project with out those options or not?

We are 4 student friends and we are planning a not too much expensive Italy trip between 30 January to 5 February. We planned like this shown below but that can be changed by your suggestions too.
We do not want to fall into the tourist traps while we try anything we can, also we want to experience the local taste as much as possible so if you have any experience and suggestions we are really appreciated if you can share.
30 Jan. -> We will land at Fiumicino Airport Rome at 4 pm if we are not faced with any delays. Then we will take the Leonardo Express + Metro Line A to our airbnb which is near to northern side of Vatican, we thought it is best route for us. Then are planning to try Bonci Pizzarium. Today we will have a little bit time to walk around, we might wander around.
31 Jan. -> We will visit the St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel then we will go the Castel Sant’Angelo and Tiber River at evening. We are not sure what we are going to eat today.
01 Feb. -> Will visit Pantheon, Piazza Navona, try mcdonals, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Trastevere neighborhood for dinner and wandering around.
02 Feb. -> That day is the first sunday of the month and it is said that day colessium is free to visit? We are not sure how it works but we read something like that. So we will take a tour in colessium and visit the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Visit Piazza Venezia and walk up to Capitoline Hill. We want to try Roman trattoria.
03 Feb. -> We will go to the Florence from Rome, looks like there is 25 Euro fast trains directly to Florence, and we will visit Florence Cathedral, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi Gallery and wander around Ponte Vecchio on sunset. We also do not know what to eat / try in Florence either.
04 Feb. -> That day we will visit Accademia Gallery and il Mercato Centrale Firenze then we will take a train to the Pisa and visit Pisa Tower.
05 Feb. -> We will return to Rome, our flight is booked on Rome. But we still have time until 5 PM.
If you have any suggestions for trattoria or any MUST visit places we would like to hear. You can also suggest any pub or any alcohol included places too, we would like to try a good wine too.

Howdy folks,
I'm installing a 4080 Super in my system. I currently have a 6750XT inserted into the lowest PCIE slot on my Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 set up in a Fractal North XL.
Would it be wiser to use the same PCIE slot and have the 4080S resting on the bottom part of the case, or install the GPU support bracket and install it in the higher PCIE slot?
My concern about installing it in the higher slot is that it would sit really close to my CPU and cooler (5700X3D, DeepCool AK620 if it matters) and don't know whether it would be better to have it resting on the case or close to the heat of the CPU.
