I'm not joking. What the fuck?
I had backed up my files and made a clean install of my PC.
Steam wouldn't open so I Uninstalled Steam through the uninstaller in the Steam folder.
To my absolute horror I notice the files it's deleting have NOTHING to do with Steam. I'm talking Discord, photo editing software, web browsers etc. Now they still WORK, so there's no problem there it's just the desktop shortcuts, but why would this happen at all?
I'd love to submit a report but the dashboard still won't open. I've tried mucking around with win defender and the firewall is ticked to let Steam through. I need to turn off windows defender or the updates won't happen. It seems to be updating specifically have Steam to launch in an interoperable state.
Also Steam appears in the background processes but won't run. Sometimes it tried to update but wouldn't. This used to be normal as Steam was set to boot offline but I never got as far as the black dashboard loading popup to log me in. My PC is out of date and can't run steam any more, but prior to the clean install it could still open and I could play the games in offline mode.
When I try to boot Steam now I get a fatal error saying Steam can't run on my system. I've tried things such as following instructions to force a rollback of updates and completely uninstall my graphics driver. In both cases I don't get the fatal error popup. Removing 99% of the files in the Steam folder and running it makes it create files but this doesn't fix the issue either.
I was getting errors in the event viewer but installed the C packages and other files Steam was missing. The errors went away but Steam still won't get out of background processes.

2025.01.22 20:42 Wonderful_Most_5132 Cyclosporine (immune suppressant) might have damaged my kidneys
I’m freaking out and very down right now and need support, so long story short, I have chronic urticaria (a bad case of it) the safe meds stoped working for me and the only other options are immunosuppressants, I’ve been on cyclosporine for like 3-4 months now and it can cause kidney issues, well I’m just not seeing some labs from back in October 2024 that my urine land wars very elevated. The immunologist that prescribed the cyclo hasn’t even been drawing labs like he’s supposed to and I’m so scared because of that my kidneys are damaged. I have a follow up appointment with my PCP tomorrow but I’m freaking out. The one medication that’s works, I can’t take anymore and back to prednisone which is also bad cus I’m also diabetic. I can never win. I’m made af at the doctor and I swear if my kidneys are damage imma sue.

I know RRSPs cannot be touched. What can they do about RESPs? Car? House (equity split)?
Should they start closing bank accounts now? How much power does the creditor or LIT have when it comes to past accounts?

She told us that it came to her attention that we’ve been talking about what eachother made and how we’re all at different levels and if she hears us discussing it she will send us home.
I thought it was encouraged to talk about your wage? She is making it seem like it’s against the law.

I took the bottom cover off to get my ssd out and noticed the chip next to the charging port is cracked. I just shipped it back to Asus to get fixed. Alright, i bought an electric heater for my shop and I think it’s manufactured with a fire hazard. The heater has a NEMA 6-20 plug but it requires a 30amp breaker. I read the 6-20 plug is only rated for 20amps. Says it comes with a 6-20 receptacle, but it doesn’t. Seems to be a factory made over fuse, fire hazard. Does this not make any sense or am i uneducated? Looking for professional opinions before i return it.
