Hey reddit! I have a friend whom I love dearly and he is gay. I don't have a problem with the way he talks when we have conversations or when we're out and about. But we work together and he will often call out to another coworker over the wall "Deeeee-naaaa" in a sing song voice. I already have a problem with people yelling across to each other in the office but the way he calls her name is annoying me to the point where I want to say something. I know he can just call to her very monotone like "Dina" but it's over 10 times a day and I'm starting to lose my strength.
I also know it's probably something I need to just deal with and look within to accept but I thought I'd try to get some perspective from y'all. What would you appreciate? Is there a way I can tell him without hurting his feelings or making him feel like I'm being too controlling or hateful? I really love gay people with all my heart but it's just a personal preference and a bit of overly sensitivity to noise and sounds, especially when I'm trying to concentrate on work. I'm sorry if I offend anyone, I tried looking on Google but I can't find anything about it so this is my last resort.

Looking for effective ways to deal with surface rust on lorica segmentata and galia. Both are steel with brass trim and both show some light tarnishing and wear but are relatively new.
The Galia was purchased used from a Latin teacher. Appears in good condition minus some rust and tarnished brass. Segmentata was purchased new but spent 2 months shipping during the winter. Box arrived damaged but the Segmentata was in decent shape minus some bent brass buckles. Cleaned off most of the surface oil on the Segmentata.

Besides just diversifying, which is good I get that, but I could diversify stocks in a brokerage account, too, right?
What is the benefit of investing and maxing out a roth ira over just investing in stocks I COULD (but don't have to) withdraw. Right now I've got money going into some s&p 500 type stocks and I don't plan on taking them out.

I have yet to go to Crystal this year due to the firm conditions as of late. Have they been using the snowmaking on Lucky Shot and other locations on the mountain? Thinking that would make the snow a bit better. Same for all the rest of the Seattle area resorts....time to upgrade or install more snowmaking to handle these times of high pressure and cold better. Thoughts?

Having talked about it for 2 years, we've finally managed to procure a copy of TI4 + expansion, planned a group of 8 of us (all new!) to play it, and have the right space for it.
We're planning to have everyone view a rules video before the game, and possibly also assign factions and have everyone do a brief primer on their own faction.
Anyone have any good videos to teach the game (ideally not TOO long), and a primer on who the factions are so I can have people pick/bid/whatever we do to hand them out before hand?

So, I recently bought the rode podmic/cloudliftegoxlr set up for streaming and recording YouTube videos.
When I record in obs, I have an awful hiss/fuzz/reverbish sounding noise that you can hear when I get done talking. I followed a step-by-step setup guide off of YouTube and the microphone sounds good except that noise when I get done talking. The sound is terrible when I use the compressor on the goxlr app. If I turn the make-up gain up to even +1 db, it gets even harsher. I have spent two days now looking for videos to fix this issue and I can't find anything.
I have a recorded obs clip I can send to anyone if they want to hear the sound and might be able to fix it.

 | Ladonstar over Herculestar, it's generic effect let's you beat over Ancient Gear Golem. Helped me quickly secure lethal in two of the last five games to KOG. I don't run Buffered Slime in favor of a 3rd Type Change Beam just so I can play more aggressively; not running it didn't seem to impact my winrate but seeing Beam more often seemed to give me more wins. My only gripes with the deck still is the lack of consistency. No Fusion, no plays. They don't need to give a Skill to search Fusion (and they most likely won't) because they'll drop Metarion Fusion in a future box. I had the desire to re-read an older crossover story, "Pokémon RWBY: Journey Through Vale" by author BranwenOSV, though it seems like the author deleted all their stories. It seemingly still exists via a link to the 'fanfiction.ws' site (which I am not very familiar with), but the only chapters I am able to read are the first and last ones. As soon as I want to change chapters, the site just goes black for me.
If someone can help me retrieve this story somehow, I would very much appreciate it.
