Thank you for helping me! I’m an EMT, barely getting by and want to finally build a good PC. My current computer is, no joke, a 2012 Asus laptop running Windows 8.
I want to be able to edit videos and on the side, game. I know nothing about computers and with my work schedule, I don’t have time to learn or adequately research. My priority is efficient and smooth video editing. Likely with adobe premiere until I become familiar with other programs.
Here we go!:
•New build or upgrade? ~~New
• Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/ links) ~~starting from scratch
• PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/ games) ~~video editing, gaming
• Purchase country? Near Micro Center? ~~US, what’s a micro center?….
• Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) ~~one monitor, whatever you recommend for my needs, monitor has a separate budget so exclude this cost from the budget for the rest of my parts
• Budget range? (Include tax considerations) ~~$1,100-$1,500… $2000 absolute max
• WiFi or wired connection? ~~both
• Size/noise constraints? ~~none
• Cololighting preferences? ~~don’t care about color or lighting
