2025.01.23 01:25 Payment-Prudent Alternative treatment but my anxiety goes high at night (and wake me up at 3am or 4am)
Hey guys. A few years ago I started treatment with Lexapro, sometimes 10 or 20, and 5 and now im trying to stop. At times I used Wellbutrin - which was good for energy but increased anxiety. Between comings and goings, I was put on Depakote (2 months ago) to perhaps treat cyclothymia.
However, I recently found a psychiatrist who is looking to provide a more alternative treatment with supplements. The idea is to reduce all medications and treat with supplements:
- L theanine 400mg + ashawaganda 600mg twice a day (I've already started)
- Glycine 5g + Melissa Officinalis 600g + Passiflora 300mg + taurine 2g + melatonin 0.2mg to stimulate sleep (which has been very good, I've never slept so quickly)
- Another vitamin combo (Transresveratrol + Quercetin; Vitamin D3 + K2 MK7 + Retinol Palmitate + Vitamin E)
- 4g of Omega 3
- NAC + Silymarin
More LDN (low dose naltrexone) - I started with a very low dose (0.25mg)
Even though I have already started the L theanine treatment with Ashwaganda and have reduced and almost stopped the use of Lexapro, sometimes I still have small anxiety attacks, for no apparent reason... at night. Sometimes i go to bed after a really good day, but i wake up at 3 am or 4 am with a anxiety atack. I feel more anxiety in the night time, before bad... Like a fear or some likee it. And i woke up in anxiety atack always between 3 am or 5 am...
With all these supplements, why i'm still so anxious? Do you have some advice or something to include in my stack?

I recently had a small windfall and made the decision to finally buy my dream PC. At the same time, I am still an intermediate when it comes to building PCs and I am reaching out to the community to see if I am going overkill or if this is a decent build for the cost. I am including peripherals like the two 4k monitors and external hard drive along with the maximum storage options for this build (which I will probably scale back on). What would you change in this build? What would you upgrade if anything? Thanks all!

I tried making my own thumbnails on GIMP but it just kept pissing me off, someone else is gonna have to do it I been watching DIY YT videos on it all day and even started late last night prior. So screw GIMP. Torrenting a cracked version of Photoshop doesn't seem practical to me either so it's obvious someone else will need to do that for me (I've got all the ideas though) problem is I can't pay anyone to do that rn, not yet. I feel like I should give up before I even get started but I KNOW if I did this it would be successful. I'm charismatic and entertaining as hell. I Know which niche audience I'm going to target. I even know what kind of channel it will be. I just need some help from ppl that KNOW what they are doing.

SPOILERS FOR The New Hammer and Bolter episode
At the end of the Episode, a warp being claims the soul of A Word Bearer , Calls him "son" and so on. Is that Lorgar?
If yes, than HOLY SHIT. The Lore implication behind that is wild. Lorgar essentially being able to claim and protect souls in/from the warp is God-Level, like the Emperor or the chaos Gods.
Though it's sort of weird for Lorgars Character. He talks about his "loving embrace" but the word bearers screams in horror, the whole scene is creepy as hell.
What do you guys think?
