2025.01.22 22:16 Mickname_342 I'm doing a research on Celeste's benefits on mental health
I am a college student studying Game Design and I'm doing my final year thesis on what the title of this post says. To complete it I need to conduct a survey and I need more people to answer it. So, could you please answer the survey.
The results of this survey will be analysed to see if Celeste benefits stress management, makes it worse or is uncoclusive. For the multyple choice answers it will be analysed based on % alone, while the open ended questions will be analysed to get better insight into specific topics, but none of them will be used as specific cases and will be more so generalised. After that the general results will be compared to public papers that researched stress in videogames. Furthermore the results of this survey will not be published anywhere (so nobody besides me will have access to the individual open ended answers) and it will be used only for my final year thesis. The thesis itself is just for grading purposes, so only I and my supervisor will have access to it. Finally, the survey is anonymous.

Hello, I have a question, I have a PC with an i7 8700 and I got a very good offer for a 3050 6GB graphics card. I have seen on YouTube that they test this same configuration and it works well in the CPU-GPU relationship but all the tests are in 1080p. Here is the problem: my monitor does not reach that resolution, it barely reaches 1440x900. So my question is the following: If I buy the graphics card and use it on my PC at that resolution, will I have a greater load on the CPU? I read there that the lower the resolution, the greater the load on the CPU

So there's this neighbor who was a very good friend of my mom, last year December my mom flashed her phone without knowing and deleted everything.I tried recovering her contacts but only few appeared.To cut the long story short my mom unknowingly called the neighbor's husband/boyfriend and now she was angry saying that my mom wanted to steal this guy from her and it's funny coz that guy is soo pathetic (no offense).
The issue is that this neighbor comes home drunk and insults my mother through the window using very offensive insults she also broke one of the window.She also doesn't want to sit down and say her piece. I mean that woman is so illiterate.
Its not like my mom even said anything to her husband that could make her to believe that my mom wanted to snatch him from her.I am so pissed right now because she has just finished insulting my mom right now and also broke one of our door window just because I had locked the gate with the under lock, I didn't know her sister was outside but I opened the gate when I heard them knocking since I wasn't even asleep.
( It's only two houses in that part our plot, our house and her house). You can't imagine the insults coming out from that woman's mouth yet she has a 4 year old baby.I feel very sad for my mom and also very uncomfortable with this neighbor's action.
I mean what actions would you advise me to take?

Hello! I’m helping a friend find her dream venue, and she really wants to have her wedding reception outdoor in a tent/greenhouse/glass pavilion sort of structure, however she wants to ensure that it can be air conditioned. She loves harding estate, which has a heated and cooled glass pavilion, but it is fully booked for the timeframe she is planning for.
Does anyone else know of any other locations that provide A/C in a similar style structure?

We are from Louisiana and as you know the snow storm from yesterday left a lot of snow on cars. Today I woke up and got out the house and I found my mom removing the snow with the broom which it made me worried if this caused a lot of damage on the paint ? Poor camera quality, poor web based UI and poor customer service.
How the DevOps for Arlo continue to be employed is an absolute mystery for me. My company uses like 100’s of these because of budget, but everything from top to bottom is just AWFUL. Everytime I have to contact customer support it’s like pulling teeth without anesthesia.
And renewing our subscription for the account is a pain because somehow the company card info is not processing with their website, literally won’t let us give them our money.
