About a year and a half had a very thorough confession where I laid out some shameful stuff I had gotten into for a while during my teens and 20s. I was laying myself bare in the confessional and the priest at one point stopped me and went into his response. I felt done with it for a long time afterward.
However, there was one particular aspect of it that I forgot to mention. It wasn't particularly aggravating (I think...), but was sort of separate (but also related to) the rest of the overlying issue. I also would've forgotten to mention it regardless of if the priest had stopped me or not.
A few weeks ago, I, in prayer, asked God to help me get to Heaven and show me whatever I needed to do. Shortly after, I remembered this thing out of the blue. Now, I remain unsure that I was thorough enough in my confession. I briefly mentioned it in my last go around, but was also kind of vague as to avoid bringing up the shameful issue in full once more (going to be very hard for me to do that again, but I will if I'm sure I have to).
Intellectually, I think it's probably water under the bridge, but the fact that I remembered this right after my prayer has me doubting. I'm wondering if this is a temptation to scrupulosity from the devil or a plea from God. It's been nagging at me, but I remain unsure. Wouldn't God remove this nagging if the answer was a definitive no? I just freaking hate the confusion. Is my urge to "reconfess" just a sign that I haven't forgiven myself?
For the record, I do have OCD. I asked God to make me sure if I have to bring it up in full elaboration. I'm still unsure, but the nagging is still there. I really, really don't want to bring this up. Doing it (possibly what is simply "again") just seems kind of wrong too. Ugh...

2025.01.22 22:00 BreyeFox I, 32, moved to Upstate New York from Denver and now suddenly everyone refuses to insure me.
I’m losing my mind, and at this point I am starting to panic. I bought a car before I moved, going to register it here in NT close to when the temp tag was up.
I had two cars stolen in Denver, both over three years ago- I lived in a bad neighborhood-I was poor with no garage- and this was peak covid. My Hyundai Tucson was stolen and deemed a total loss. The insurance gave me a loaner thru hertz that was a KIA, and even though I told them that it was not a great choice because of all the thefts happening, Hertz and Esurance told me it was the only choice at the time because that’s what the rental place had. The Kia was stolen about two weeks later but recovered. In September of last year I was coming home from the airport and a guy rear ended me totaling both my car and his.
This was my last straw, and I moved from Denver to upstate(small town) on January 1st. I bought a 2024 ford bronco, low miles back in November in Denver.
Statefarm, my insurance at the time of the accident, renewed my policy in November, but when I went to change my address to New York so I could register the car and get a new license, told me they will not cover me here. I have called all of the big companies and little ones I can think and no one will insure me, citing the thefts and accident. I’ve been told that even though I was found not a fault, it’s too many strikes.
I can’t get insurance. I can’t register the car here without insurance. I can’t register the car in Denver anymore since I have moved to New York. Everyone keeps telling me that progressive will insure me, but when I go to give my bank information I get an error that says the rescinded the quote. The progressive agent I talked to in the phone had the same issue. I got as far with him as entering my bank info and it declined me. I am at a loss. I need insurance but can’t get it. I tried high risk insurance and got quoted 611 a month. That’s TRIPLE what I paid in Denver, one of the car capitals for theft and uninsured drivers!!!! I’m at a loss I don’t understand. This is a small town, far safer than where I was. I feel beat down. Advice would be appreciated because I don’t know what to do anymore. I can’t afford 611 dollars a month. I want to cry so bad. I feel like moving was a mistake at this point because I have to have a car to work.

I live with my fiance and have two of my own kids from a previous relationship. My fiance covers the rent, his own car payment, the water bill and my car insurance. I cover the electric bill, my own car payment, groceries, and costs for my children. I’m a stay at home mom since my two kids are both under 4. My son is on the autism spectrum so finding full time care has been super challenging. (He’s been removed from 4 daycares). Now he qualifies for a half day at a preschool. My fiance and I agreed The cost for child care for both kids so I can work wouldn’t be worth it. The plan is to start providing childcare out of our house so I can make some money while I’m home. This is supposed to start in February, however he feels upset and feels it’s “unfair” that I have occasional play dates or use the gym with a friend sometimes while he works. Is he valid in feeling like I shouldn’t have any “fun” or socialization because I stay at home? He thinks phone calls with friends should be enough…am I wrong for thinking I should be able to have playdates and hit the gym with a friend? All the laundry, cooking, and cleaning is typically done regardless if I make extra plans or not. Thoughts?
