Hallo,
vorab: Ich bin nicht ganz sicher, ob ich mit meiner Frage im richtigen Sub bin, aber Finanzen scheint mir nicht der richtige Ort. Wenn ich hier falsch bin, dann sorry vorab.
Ich habe seit vielen Jahren ein Girokonto bei einer großen deutschen Bank. Seit noch vielen Jahren mehr habe ich insgesamt vier Vornamen in meinem Ausweis stehen, von denen ich im "echten Leben" aber nur einen verwende. Neben vielen anderen "Problemen", die einem so viele Vornamen bescheren (schon mal in einem außereuropäischen Land eine "electronic immigration" versucht und nicht alle Namen passen in das entsprechende Feld im Eingabeterminal ;-)) bin ich ein wenig genervt, dass besagte Bank nun seit einiger Zeit sämtliche Vornamen in jedweder Korrespondenz und z.B. auch als Absender bei Überweisungen führt.
Ich bin gefestigt genug, um die regelmäßigen dümmlichen Kommentare der Empfänger von Überweisungen richtig einsortieren zu können, aber eigentlich wäre mir ganz lieb, wenn ich selbst entscheiden könnte, wem ich meine Vornamen "offenbaren" möchte und nicht der Bank diese Entscheidung überlassen.
Die Bank selbst ist hier wenig flexibel und hat lediglich vorgeschlagen, eine "abweichende Versandadresse" (mit nur einem Vornamen) zu hinterlegen. Funktioniert aber z.B. im Zahlungsverkehr nicht und zu weiteren Maßnahmen sieht sich die Bank nicht in der Lage.
Ich sehe ein, dass z.B. unter KYC-Gesichtspunkten mein voller Name bei der Bank hinterlegt sein muss, aber gibt für die Bank es eine rechtliche Vorgabe, dass entsprechend auch der vollständige Name im Zahlungsverkehr und auf Briefkorrespondenz Anwendung finden muss?

I'm a middle manager in a fast paced dairy processing plant and I get the impression we'll be expected to be there. (I live 15 minutes away). Maybe I'm wrong.

Basically the title. I currently have 2 Substack publications and I also write on Medium. I have concerns that eventually these platforms will change or go away, so I want to have a backup. But also, I kind of think it would just be nice to have a chronological archive of all my online writing. Has anyone ever done this? Pros/cons to consider? I know how to set up canonical URLs, but anything else to think about?

I bought a BeeLink, but I bought the wrong one, but figured it'd make a good Home Assistant and frigate machine. Thing is, I want to use a Coral TPU with Home Assistant to do voice control stuff, but I also want to use it for frigate, for AI capabilities, etc.
What is the best way to run them both on the same machine? Should I proxmox and LXC them? Or, should I just run Home Assistant on debian / Bookworm and then use the frigate add-on? Is the frigate add-on for HA full-featured as running a frigate server?

2025.01.22 23:07 Complete_Mine5530 CAT WAS ABANDONED AT MY APARTMENT COMPLEX AND NEED HELP GETTING HER CHECKED OUT SO WE CAN KEEP HER
So we believe this cat was abandoned because she’s very very lovey and affectionate, and WANTS to be inside.
She was abandoned in the freezing snow and we brought her in and now she’s in our bathroom. She is currently laying on my lap asleep and purring.
We however have another cat and I’m scared to introduce her into the home properly without being checked out.
The issue is, we are a one income household at the moment and I won’t start getting my disability checks until March! We want so badly to be her forever home but need to at least get her checked to ensure our cats safety.
I need help and don’t know what to do. I wanted to call humane society but they’re closed
If anyone can think of something we can do or knows of services in Nashville please let me know.

Haven’t found a lot on this topic online so I thought I would ask here. I play tenor and I got these Vandoren strength 5s. I don’t have a really good mouthpiece, like the mouthpiece doesn’t even have a name on it😭. I’ve noticed I’ve had a better tone on the 5’s but it’s hard to have a nice loud tone and hit lower notes. I mentioned my mouthpiece because I’ve heard that most people play 5’s with a pretty high tip opening. I’ve also heard that a 3.5 reed is optimal for tone but I don’t have one to try.
