2025.01.22 23:16 M8NSMAN Brand recommendations
Currently have a 2006 Ruud 2-1/2 ton gas pack system that will need to be replaced, what brands should I avoid & which will be the best bang for my buck we are looking at selling within the next couple years so we don’t want to go overboard. Also have a 3-1/2 ton Ruud split system with gas heat that is also 19 years old. Both systems are R22 & have had some repairs in the past & I know the price of R22 is outrageous so is R134A still the most common refrigerant or is something else the latest & greatest refrigerant.

I bought the Ledger Nano S Plus and was gifted $20 in BTC from Ledger that went straight into my Ledger wallet. Amount I received ended up being $19.64 in BTC with a fee of 0.00047517 in BTC. For tax purposes is this considered price income and entered as ordinary income? Do I enter $20 as the ordinary income on my taxes? Do I have to do anything with the transaction fee I was charged as far as capital gains/loss? Also, even though the fee says 0.00047517, wouldn't the fee be 46 cents? Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hey guys, I'll soon be in Europe for a couple of days and I wonder if the 58-euro ticket is worth it for my case. I'll spend 5 nights in Berlin and, later on, 5 nights in Munich, so I won't go directly from Berlin to Munich.
Of the 5 nights I'll stay in Munich, 3 of them will be in a new month (so I'd need to buy the DT for two months), but my idea was to buy it for the first month and then buy single tickets everytime I need it in the last 3 days there.
I added up the cost of individual tickets in both Berlin and Munich for my time there and I think it would add up to like 40 to 50 euro, considering two trips every day or full day tickets. Even though it is a bit cheaper, I'm super scared of that 'need to validate' system, I'm scared I'll fuck up someday and I'll be fined, so the DT would save me some of that headache of worrying everytime if I validated it correctly.
Do you guys have any recommendation for that?

as the title says. even since a very young age, i remember when i would pray before bed, i would have nightmares that night.
recently, getting back into giving praise to god and those things he has done and continued to do for me before bed, i have a nightmare that i have to wake up from and recoup.
i noticed this is only when i pray, as i would pick nights at random to not, just to see, and i would sleep like a baby, no nightmares at all.
i guess i am asking.. if anyone else has ever experienced this or maybe.. why this might be?

I spent 40 years in the software industry and they had this great rule for "the software is shipping" - great, here's my Visa card, give me a copy. And then half the time it would be "well, uh, maybe tomorrow..."
So... Is there anything interesting available today (i.e. I can buy one today) for say a 20GW BESS, that is better than Lithium?
And what do you all here think there's a say 90% chance will be shipping in the next 5 years? There's a lot of stuff that's promising and some of it will pan out. But I'm not seeing anything other than metal air that I'd bet on. And I'm not sure it'll be better as they keep improving the mixture for Lithium/Cobalt/etc.
I live in Colorado where we have a lot of very tall mountains. I sometimes think the best thing would be a couple more pumped hydro stations. Not as responsive as batteries, but it works.
