2025.01.22 23:13 N4Opex OBS keeps changing audio input device to "Default"
I use OBS as my clipping software because Nvidia Instant Replay is a pile of garbage that's been broken for years at this point. Basically my OBS auto starts in the background as a minimized window and I clip via the replay buffer.
I've got a dedicated mic, and I've got a headset that has its own mic (that I detached from the headset though). When I select an audio input device in OBS, both microphone options show up, when the mic is set to Default then my audio input isn't captured, therefore it has to be set to my dedicated mic.
However every few hours or so something happens that makes OBS change the audio input device from my mic back to Default, and I only find out a few days later when I clip a funny moment just to find out that my mic wasn't being recorded at all. It's driving me nuts, it's such a minor issue that breaks the entire purpose of why I use this software.
I never plug out my mic for it to change, I never plug in my headset mic, I never play around with the settings of OBS. I never change my mic settings in the system, not even in other applications such as Discord, I made sure other recording softwares such as Instant Replay are turned off so they can't interfere with OBS, I tried everything I could think of yet OBS still keeps changing my mic to "Default". I appreciate any help.

 | I got a tattoo about a week ago. This one has wept for days (about 5), which threw me off bc I have others, bigger and with more color, that haven’t done that. This morning I noticed this. I tried to crop/zoom as much as possible since it’s a smaller tattoo. This is after washing, before moisturizing. I had the saniderm for about 48 hrs (initial 24, then applied a second and took it off after it wept so much it leaked. After that I’ve been using hustle butter (lotion and wash 3 or so times a day). Did anyone notice emotional changes before you knew you had clots? I just found out I have several DVT clots and have had them for a long time. I have been telling my doctor that I've been more easily agitated and more anxious. I'm wondering if these systems might go away once they treat the DVT.

2025.01.22 23:13 csZipy205 What's the meta with launching demos on Steam?
I'm a bit confused about everything related to demos on Steam. It seems like some people launch a demo for their game on a separate page from the one they'll release the full game on, but others use one page for both. If you get reviews from your demo, wouldn't you want those reviews to transfer over to your full game on release so that you have more engagement history for Steam to promote your game off of? Or is that not a good idea since your demo might be reviewed more negatively than your final game? Is it possible to choose whether or not to transfer the reviews from the demo to the full page, or will that not even help your game's launch?
Some people say to wait until you have a certain number of wishlists before you post your demo, but is it worth it to delay the release of my demo just to get a few more wishlists first?
I also have a question about Next Fest and genre-specific fests on Steam. I'm making a creature collecting rhythm game and I think I could get a polished demo finished for the game by mid/late April. Steam is having a "creature collector fest" in mid May, so would that be the best place for me to show off the demo or should I wait until the June Next Fest to release the demo? (And finally would I be able to feature my game in both?)
Sorry for asking so many questions, I just haven't been able to find good information on the best way to approach all of this stuff. Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hey y’all!
First time posting here, looking to buy a 1997 Toyota Estima that is a JDM import. The car is currently in San Diego. Mostly wanted to ask:
-are there any questions I should be asking buying this car. Maybe specific to the van? Specific to JDM Toyotas?
-everything I’ve read about the car is that it is a bulletproof engine when taken care of and will run forever, when looking at it and test driving, are there things to look out for that may be issues?
Mostly looking to use it as a car to get around town, take surfing, and occasional short road trips!
Any help is super appreciated, and if I should point this in another direction please let me know!
