Finally got my RG 34xx in the mail today, and it didn’t turn on out of the box. Then after an hour and a half of troubleshooting, it still won’t turn on.
I tried everything I possibly could. Plugged it in to charge right away with the provided cable. Flashed the latest firmware on the card. Flashed a custom firmware on the card. Tried again on a brand new SanDisk card. Hit the reset button a billion times, ejected and reinserted the SD card, made sure it was in the right slot. Followed the Retro Game Corps setup guide very closely. Absolutely nothing is fixing the issue.
I’m livid right now. I’ve been interested in Anbernic devices for so long and finally pulled the trigger when the 34xx was announced. After weeks of waiting for it to arrive, I just ended up wasting my entire night just trying to turn the thing on. Did I just get a lemon or do they have poor quality control?

Okay kind of clickbait title, but this card is far too oppressive and needs some kind of nerf. I just hit 9k trophies and I still see Three Musketeers at LEAST every single other game, if not more often than that. If I don't have lightning its an auto-lose against any half decent player, which I find ridiculous and annoying. Lightning has made basically every other spell obsolete. I want to use rocket, or fireball, or void, or poison, or delivery, or heal, something INTERESTING besides Lightning, but I just can't because Three Musketeers cycle gets such ludicrous value.
Sure it has mediocre usage at top ladder (can't understand why given how much value it gives) but its omnipresence in mid ladder warrants a nerf or change of some kind. It's been like 8 years of this.
I guess log is a solid counter, but that thing needs a buff first.

I swear, it's the people who barely meet the criteria for a diagnosis who brag about how "cool" their autism is. Or, it's the people who actually have decent support on their side being not realising it's a privilege to have supportive people around you.
I rely on government support because I genuinely would die without it. I have a hard time holding down even a part-time minimum wage job and I can't drive. I rely on a special disabled bus to get me to and fro.
I am living on the equivalent of about $330 US dollars per month to feed me and pay my other bills like a bank fee and my phone number. In the summer of 2025, it's only THEN when my government is finally letting disabled people have a bit of extra money per month.
I'm relying on straight-up income support because switching to the current version of disability pay wouldn't change my quality of life in the slightest. I want to not have to rely on such low quality food in order to survive. I want to do more than just barely survive as a disabled person who's on welfare to escape an abusive and neglectful home. Is that so much to ask?
It can be hard for me to process reading or instructions as well. Processing my surroundings on a level where I can fully support myself is unfortunately impossible.
I rely on what little supports I do have. I am struggling to stay alive, only for people to brag about being "neurospicy and super powered, not a booorring neurotypical 🤪"

I enjoy most of the game but i feel like it drags on at time both during the main story and dlcs. I feel like every time I do a main quest there’s a character that seemingly wants to me take a 3 hour detour before giving me what I need.
