Posting as a question for a friend who does not have reddit!
Background: They recently got invited to do interviews at UNC for their graduate program (in exercise science or the likes). The admissions person told them they are in-person all day interviews. Unfortunately, my friend cannot really afford to take off a couple days of work to fly out to UNC. The cost of flights + lodging + pet care + food and whatever else is more than they can afford. They are intending on getting scholarships and financial aid to pursue their education.
Question: Has anyone had any experience with UNC grad admissions and being able to opt-in to virtual interviews? OR Does UNC have any kind of financial relief/aid for prospective students to fly out to them for these interviews?
They really like this program and feel really disheartened that their lack of wealth would be such a massive barrier here and are anxious UNC is just one of many schools who will require them to strain their finances before they even get accepted.
Any advice or feedback is appreciated!

I just got my doubles redone TWO days ago.
And we just found out my indoor cat has ringworm.
I have had ringworm before from swimming in a river. It was a 6 month battle because I had a shaving cut on my leg and had to keep swimming as I was a competitive swimmer. I am thinking I will be highly susceptible to getting this in either one or both of my piercings. My cat sleeps with us, rubs everywhere, and I have touched her and the spot (prior to knowing it was ringworm) these past two days.
What the fuck do I even do…? Abandon the piercings? One is already extremely tender and causing hives. Can I put anti-fungal on the piercings after cleaning?

I'm trying to swap native ETH to native SOL from my Ledger Nano S wallet. However, I keep getting a "No Valid Quote Found" error.
I'm getting quotes for swapping from ETH to BTC, Doge etc. but not for SOL.
Wondering if I'm doing something wrong here? Do I need to do something different when swapping ETH to SOL to make the swap work (like use a different wallet?).

Something is wrong in the Hakuryokoku (白瀧谷) Valley. Its pulsing heart, The Hakuryu (白竜) river, suddenly reversed its flow, spelling disaster for the local communities. Word also spread about a sudden change in the koi dragon Bakuryo (瀑瀧), embodiment of the river itself. The usually gentle and calm yokai seems to have turned erratic and violent. Are the two events related? What might be causing this calamity? It's up to a group of heroes to investigate these portents, and find a solution to save Hakuryokoku Valley!
About the adventure Hi! This short campaign of two or three sessions is an introduction to Ryoko's Guide to the Yokai Realms, one of the most successful Kickstarter projects ever run for a TTRPG project.
The adventure is designed with a dynamic difficulty, so the Player Characters should be either a group of level 9, level 15 or even level 20 characters! So, do you feel ready? Then sharpen your dice, and let's hunt a kaiju!
