Looking for a barbestylist in fairfax/springfield (willing to go to dc as well) that is also gender friendly/neutral/fluid since I'm a female who prefers haircuts that are more popular with males. 2025.01.23 02:37 Puzzleboy102 RPMs Increasing Slightly When Breaking - Chevy Silverado 1500
Hi everyone - quick question for you. I recently purchased a used 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 60k miles on it. It’s got the 6 speed transmission. I noticed after a few days of having it that when going to break, the rpm’s gradually go down (like normal) then slightly go up as I am near stopping before heading back down again to idle speed. The truck doesn’t accelerate or anything while breaking, it’s just the rpm does a very slight “jump” when I get close to coming to a stop. It’s nothing big and can only really be “felt” if someone was really trying to pay attention to it. When it goes up, it’s only maybe 300 or so rpm, not like 1000 or anything. Wasn’t sure what this could be as I’ve seen stuff saying it’s normal and others saying it isn’t. I’d be curious to hear your take and if it is a problem, what would be a rough cost to have it fixed and if it’s necessary. Thanks!

Basically, I am unable to purchase a JR Pass on my foreign passport at the service counters, since my foreign passport lacks an entry stamp.
I have previously used the self-serve kiosks with passport scanners to buy JR Pass for JR East, to take the Shinkansen across Tohoku.
Does anyone know if these are available in Kyushu, specifically Hakata station? I would like to do the same thing but for Kyushu. I will be flying into Japan through Fukuoka, so going to Tokyo to purchase the pass is not an option.

2025.01.23 02:37 OmynZ Running Moonlight full time. Is this a bad idea?
I’m thinking about a change in my primary setup and considering any issues I might encounter. My gaming PC is currently in my office, but I’m considering moving it to some space I have in my server rack. This would allow me to just run a mini PC in the office (or anywhere really) to handle general computing tasks, and fire up Moonlight/Apollo when I need the horsepower from my main machine.
Has anyone here done something similar? What issues did you face?
Here are a few things that come to mind:
- Preboot Access: Accessing things like a preboot prompts or BIOS without convenient direct access might be tricky. This seems like a solvable problem though with a KVM over IP (like JetKVM)
- USB Passthrough: I occasionally use high-speed USB devices (e.g., external hard drives) and VR. While AirLink or Virtual Desktop might work for VR, I’d lose direct USB as an option for other devices.
- Overall Experience: So far, I’ve had pretty good results streaming 4K 120Hz HDR to clients with HDMI 2.1 connected to OLED, but the “Experimental” tag on those features makes me hesitant to rely on them full-time. Both server and clients would have at minimum 2.5GBe connections.
- Anti-Cheat Issues: I’ve read that some games with anti-cheat don’t work well with Moonlight. How widespread is this problem?
