Hi everyone, my fiancé and I both avoid seed oils for health reasons but would like to be able to have something fried as a treat now and then. Are there any restaurants people are aware of that fry in 100% beef tallow, or use olive oil/avocado oil in dishes? It might be a long shot, but it's a bonus if they have gluten free options as I can't eat gluten.
Also, I understand people have different opinions on the issue of seed oils, but I'm not interested in getting into an argument, just curious if people have any restaurant recommendations. Thank you so much! :)

Orwell was just 40 years off the mark when he predicted that “the party” would tell you to “reject the evidence of your eyes and ears.” Every 4th post I scroll past on anything other than Reddit is some clearly false headline passed off as actual news. When I click on the comments, way too many people seem to believe this bull shit. People clearly don’t know how to decipher truth from fiction and even I fall for some of the more believable stuff until I actually try to read the article and it’s just fake BS after fake BS. I don’t know what it’s like elsewhere but in the United States we live in a fantasy land where truth is subjective and the world is so saturated with falsehoods that it’s impossible to find reality.

My family and I just bought our first home at the beginning of January. We're very happy to be here and immediately set about getting some work done.
One of the things was that there is no hot water to our upstairs bathroom. So we have a plumber come to check the pipes, possibly lay some new ones if necessary, see what the connection is, whatever. After a whole day spent trying to figure out what was going on with the plumbing, he finds the issue --
The upstairs bathroom has its own hot water heater. It was hidden behind a wall in our closet. This was not disclosed to us, our inspector missed it, the appraiser missed it. To cap it all off, the heater is broken and leaking water down into the ceiling.
Previous family lived here for over 20 years and the upstairs is an addition, so they definitely put it in there and then hid it.
This was an as-is sale so I'm fully expecting that I'm just fucked, but how fucked am I? Is there any recourse at all here?
