I’m sharing my story in the hope that it might help someone else struggling with mysterious symptoms. It’s taken me nearly four years and countless doctor visits (and over $50,000 spent) to finally figure out what was causing the issues I’ve been dealing with since January 2020.
It all started one day when I woke up feeling like something was stuck in my throat. This sensation came with soreness and tenderness at the base of my skull and behind my ears near the jaw. Over time, I began experiencing extreme fatigue and even a crunching or crackling sound whenever I turned my head. I saw countless specialists, underwent multiple tests, MRIs, CT scans, and even exploratory surgeries, but I couldn’t find an answer.
Eventually, I consulted a highly rated ENT specialist who told me he was 95% sure it wasn’t my throat causing the issue but rather my posture. This was a game-changing realization.
I’ve had poor posture since childhood, specifically forward head posture compounded by lordosis and kyphosis. When the pandemic hit, I stopped working out regularly and neglected my posture, which made things worse. On top of that, I had started Invisalign treatment to straighten my teeth, which added strain. These factors combined to create a perfect storm for my symptoms.
After much trial and error, I discovered the root cause: extraordinarily weak deep neck flexor muscles. These muscles, which help stabilize the neck, had become so weak that they caused all of the issues I was experiencing, including the sensation of something being stuck in my throat.
How do I know this? Because once I started a consistent regimen to strengthen my deep neck flexors, my symptoms began to disappear. Over time, the throat sensation, soreness, and crackling in my neck all improved. It’s not a quick fix, and progress is gradual, but the difference is incredible. Now, whenever my symptoms start to return, I focus on strengthening these muscles, and the relief is almost immediate.
I’m not a medical professional, so I strongly recommend consulting a doctor to rule out other potential causes. But I wanted to share my journey in case it helps someone else who might be dealing with similar unexplained symptoms.
If you’ve tried everything and still can’t find answers, don’t underestimate the impact of posture and muscle strength on your overall health. It could make all the difference—just like it did for me.

hi, so i stupidly took my 150mg dose of sertraline after not taking it for a month. i definitely should've only taken 50mg but i didn't think there would be a problem taking my normal dose.
i've been extremely nauseous and throwing up with constant tremors. i've been drinking as much water as i can?
what else can i do?

So I have a friend of like 6 or so years, who's recently been very distant with me. We used to talk every day, play video games together fairly often and just spend a lot of time together. It was very nice, and because of these moments we shared, I value this friend a lot.
But recently, she's been awfully distant with me. Talking maybe 2-3 times a week, if that. Any time I ask "what are you up to?" Or "what do you have going on this weekend?" I get vague responses of "things" and "life stuff" and that just shuts down the conversation immediately.
For any Harry Potter fans, it feels like that scene in the order of the Phoenix where Dumbledore wouldn't even glance in Harry's direction, I just want to do as Harry did and scream "LOOK AT ME!" And for the non Harry Potter fans, it's extremely frustrating when someone you've held close to you for so long suddenly can't even give you a simple "hello"
I'm pretty heart broken about it, I don't know how to ask her what's really going on, and I don't know how to get her to tell me. Can anyone offer any guidance? Judging as an outsider, would you think my friend considers this friendship over?

So I just saw Kino live recently and omg it was one of the best shows I have ever been to!!! Ever since discovering Pentagon, I have always really enjoyed a lot of what I heard of their discography, but never really dug too deep. When I saw Kino was coming near me, I was down to check it out. I listened to his solo music and vibed with it for sure.
However, it did not prepare me for how AMAZING he would be live. It was a super small venue and he really took advantage of that. There was so much audience interaction and just messing around having fun. There were so many times where audience members would say things and he would respond and straight up have conversations with them. His stage presence was also incredible, he had so much great energy. He even came down off stage and sang on the bar!!!!! Literally unforgettable, you will not regret buying a ticket!

I have a lazy susan corner cabinet. I recently found a lot of mouse poop in it. I’ve cleared everything out, but have no idea how to clean and seal it.
It’s pretty tight in there, and I can’t remove the lazy susan because of the way it’s installed. Should I just get a respirator, stick my head in, and clean? Everything I read says to not get too close, but hantavirus isn’t prevalent in my area, so I think it should be fine?
I was then planning to screw hardware cloth along the back side. Any better options?

i took AP Microeconomics first semester, and the plan was to take AP Macroeconomics second semester. i put that in for my senior year courses on college apps and etc. when required to.
however, second semester just started and AP Macro is absolutely chaotic. teacher is always ticked off, the class is literally over capacity, and i find it insanely difficult to learn the material (teacher goes over it very quickly). also, i am finalizing an internship i have lined up, which will eat more of my time.
my big question is: how bad does this look to colleges? i am still planning on taking the Micro exam if that changes anything

Estava vendo pela Decolar, MaxMilhas, Cvc e Azul Viagens. Até o momento a mais em conta foi a Decolar. Tenho receio de ter algum problema com o voo e isso prejudicar a viagem. O que vocês aconselham?

so idk if im the only one but this game has been broken ever since s15 started, at first the game started by having some visual glitches like my screen flashing weirdly almost like it's going in and out of her. i do not have hdr turned on bdw. but lately, it has become unplayable as you can see in the video, when I join the game something triggers and the game stops functioning completely. 1 frame per 10 seconds. this is not normal and before anyone says that I need to turn off my screen overlay in Nvidia app I did and it doesn't work. my GPU or any component isn't broken or damaged either, I built this computer myself and besides league this doesn't happen in any game period.
if you think its my PC it cant be I have rtx 4070ti super with i9 12gen and 32 gb of ram. neither is my monitor or my display port cable since again every other game in existence works fine. idk who needs to see this but hopefully its a dev who can work on this problem fast.
