I'm a student pursuing a Btech degree in engineering. Sorry if I sound nerdy. I've never once took an interest in the stock market until recently when my friends were talking about how the market is down and I should get into trading now since it'll help me pick and choose between stocks and see good results. I just started picking up reading again, after many many years. I finished A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and devoured it in 4 days. After telling my MIL about my experience with the book and how happy I am that I finally started reading again, she lent me The Eight Life. I’m 250 pages in, but it just doesn’t resonate with me like Khaled’s work does.
Has anyone read The Eight Life? What are your experiences?
