Posted 2 weeks ago about getting the pinkish yellow screen while playing Diablo IV and waited to see if there were any updates to fix this. I'm pissed to report that it hasn't. I played 2 sessions of 20-30 mins each until the game crashed and only one offered the option to send to Playstation. 2025.01.22 23:00 kleeshade Had a couple bad experiences with the game and tapped out. Not salty, I just wanna know if I'm misunderstanding a couple things.

Please don't come at me with negativity, I'm not trying to say your favourite game or a game you like is bad or anything, I just want the clarity a community with more experience can enable me, if that's alright.
I tapped out on the mid wall breach mission, after parking my vehicle (before a road covered in water that slowed me down, seemed like it was signalling for me to not drive through it) a bit too far away from the stabiliser switch; hit the switch and then was surprised with the fact I'd be racing to the teleporter, given not nearly enough time to make it there based on where I parked. Is there some way I was meant to know that as soon as I hit that, the ticking clock to my death would start? I felt pretty blindsided in that moment.
Also, am I understanding right that for me to attempt this mission again, and park my car in a more suitable place to race to the teleporter, I have to drive through those two or three or four prior areas just to try it again? I mean I know it makes real-world sense to have to drive back, but time wise it's very punishing for a game that essentially guaranteed my death when I parked where I thought the game was telling me to, a bit too far away from a stabiliser switch, that I didn't know was going to start the ticking clock.
I had a few other moments that didn't feel super well explained or signposted that were considerable sources of frustration, but none of them discouraged me to tap out completely. There were things I was really loving about the game but I think my experience has unfortunately stained any positive future impression I'm gonna have with it, myself. Are my experiences based in any reason, did I skip over a dialogue box, is there a way to skip the 'runbacks', etc? I'm glad you all have had a great experience with this game, it has some great parts to it, I wish my whole experience was as great as well but unfortunately it hasn't played out as such. 2025.01.22 23:00 cranstantinople Most reliable way to check variable type

I'm looking for the simplest way to check a variable type that accounts for custom object types. I have a lot of scripts that can accept input and/or convert from objects, arrays or hashtables that I mostly for standardizing input into other functions.
.GetType() would be manageable with just standard and ordered hashtables but with Graph, there are a lot of other custom object types that often get returned from SharePoint, etc. They work fine with the scripts I created because they're basically just arrays or hashtables. I've tried looking for common properties under .GetType() or checking for keys that are -notlike $null.
For the most part it seems to work but just curious if there's a cleaner or mor elegant way detect the object type.

2025.01.22 23:00 lkl1130 Taking the incredible encouragement from this sub and trying to continue

After getting through my bedroom I decided I'd like to try being able to use my living room. The couch was a dumping ground for my SO having to go through so much of his stuff was harder than I could have thought. I still need to clean the couch but for now it's at least usable.
