I am 13 and shortly after moving to the city I am rn in 2023 I've always been playing outside with the friends I made in school. Hooliganing around the neighborhood, playing football in the nearby mount, playing tag (my fav), racing (we're racists), hide and seek, etc. But there's these boys from high school 1st grade (10th grade in 'murica) who are also fwends and they said I am childish for still playing outside even tho I'm a teenager now. Since then what they said live rent free on my head So... how old were you guys when you stopped doing outdoor activity of this sort? am I childish for still be playing outside?

I’m currently a Junior in HS. I have a pretty good transcript, resume, all that, so I can probably get into a relatively competitive college for undergrad. I live in Washington State, so University of Washington is my main thinking. I’m not sure whether I should do Physics or Chemistry undergrad Major, or possibly majoring in one and minoring in the other. Are there better reasonable options for these majors out of state? Or should I just go to UW? I have more details upon request.
My goal is to go to UC Berkeley for Nuclear Physics.

Since 2020 and COVID changes to the way we consume entertainment means DVD releases come after items are available for streaming. Now I'm seeing it even with big theater releases - they will be available on a streaming service WAY before the DVD is released. A patron today put a request in for Wicked which I ordered it over a month ago. They don't understand the delay when it's available for rent via streaming.
I have a hold on Onyx Storm and I was just checking the status as we ordered four copies and I'm second on the hold list. Come to find out Ingram hasn't even SHIPPED them yet. That's so wild to me - I know Ingram has been slow but we ordered these books months ago. It feels a little intentional, like delays to new releases are happening specifically to libraries to increase wait times so people are more likely to purchase the materials. Am I just being frustrated because I want my hold or are other libraries seeing this too?

Hi, sorry I am really dumb and ignorant and I am new to the financial world.
I keep hearing people say USD term deposit rates are higher than AUD these days. But I just checked BofA's term deposit (they call it certificate of deposit) rates, it's 3 point something percent. Whereas in Australia, CommBank's term deposit rate is 4 point something percent.
Is it because I am checking the wrong things?

I (f16) have a friend (m16) who has a fiance (m17). They've been dating for about a year and a half and got engaged last summer. This is a bit unusual but I decided it was their lives and their choices, if they want to make the commitment then good luck to them. My main grievance is that the fiance comes everywhere. I'm friends with the fiance, we had some arguments in the past but we are cool with eachother now. It'd be fine to see him sometimes but anytime I invite the friend out they ask if the fiance can come with him or they say they need to leave early so they can go see the fiance. It's getting annoying because I don't want to feel like I've signed up for a package deal, sometimes I just want to see one of my friends. To be fair, if I say that the fiance can't come (I usually have to give an excuse about my mum not wanting too many people in the house) they respect that but it's still a lot. I recently invited the friend to come to a party with me since they used to know the host and want to get back in touch. Obviously, once I add them to the group chat, the fiance gets added too. It's kinda driving me insane, I don't know if I'm just being jealous but can they seriously not go to any event without each other? Someone let me know if I'm being jealous and need to get over myself or if my annoyance is fair.
