Oftentimes I post some old stuff I don't use on craigslist. It was a month ago. I posted a 3-years old bicycle on craigslist at 500 (bought it at around 1,200). One guy inquired about this bicycle and said said he could not drive a long distance because he's physically limited. He then offered to meet me at the halfway point. It was equally about 100 miles away from me and him. He also promised to pay me for the gas and my time, which is 100 more so I get 100 for the gas and time, 500 for the bicycle.
I arrived at the halfway point and waited about 10 minutes but he didn't show up. I emailed him, and he replied he would be about 15 minutes late. He also said I'm sorry. Then he said 10 more minutes, 5 more minutes, and more. After over an hour waiting, I realized I was scammed (??) I wasted my gas and time then I drove back home with nothing.
Fast forward to now, I posted a robot vacuum on craigslist and had a similar inquiries today- I really like your vacuum but I am too far away from you, so I want to meet you at the halfway point. Not one but 4 similar inquiries like that. Is it a new scam? Then, what's the point?

Hoy me han pedido que deje la mochila en una taquilla por primera vez, me ha extrañado al ver señoras con bolsos. Al final lo he dejado por no montar un circo, pero me ha parecido discriminatorio la forma en la que me lo han pedido. Lo que me más me ha molestado es que me hayan tratado como un delincuente sin yo haber echo nada ilegal, literalmente no he robado ni un chicle en mi vida. Podría un comercio denegarme la entrada si me hubiese negado a dejar la mochila en la taquilla? Sé que hay una razón por la que los comercios tienen estas "políticas" pero si se me niega el acceso a mí, ¿Por qué no a las señoras con bolsos? Si se aplicase a todo el mundo acataría pero a mi me ha parecido discriminatorio ante la ley Artículo 14 de la Constitución española: “los españoles son iguales ante la ley, sin que pueda prevalecer discriminación alguna por razón de nacimiento, raza, sexo, religión, opinión o cualquier otra condición o circunstancia personal o social”.

Hi🙂 Hoping someone could give me advice on practicing pilates with some back pain. For reference I’m 27F, and have just gotten back into pilates after a four month break. I don’t usually suffer from back pain, but I woke up this morning with a significant dull pain in my middle to upper back. It’s a lot better now but I still can feel it. It’s a dull pain and doesn’t seem to change with movement, so I’m more worried it would re-trigger the pain after the class, than hurting during class. I have a class later today, so I’m wondering if it’s best to play it safe, and let my back rest or if it would be fine to take a class.

2025.01.22 23:50 Wynie_in_Wonderland I’ve tried everything and my nails won’t grow past my fingertips - what else can I try?

I’ve had a problem with my nails breajainf for most of my life. I have some health issues and deficiencies so I’m on supplements and meds. I’m slightly iron and B12 deficient so I take vitamins for that. I’ve tried Biotin and prenatal supplements and they haven’t helped.
When I have shellac nails, they don’t break nearly as easily so I can grow them out long, but as soon as the shellac is removed, they’re like paper.
I haven’t gotten shellac in a while since I know it’s damaging. I still can’t grow my nails out without them literally peeling, breaking and chipping off. I’ve tried 3 different cuticle oils, straight jojoba oil, and hand cream, the OPI nail envy strengthened and leaving them to grow, but they’re so weak I could literally peel them off (obviously I’m leaving them alone, but just to illustrate how weak they are).
What else can I do to grow long, strong nails, less resistant to breaking?

Hi folks, I am just wondering if anyone has experienced what I have just recently.
Twice on different occasions, my key have failed to start the engine.
Battery good
Lights come on, but did not start - retried and it started.
Also just once, whilst driving - the engine just stopped, all electrics remained working, just like I had turned it off.
I was still doing about 60km (slowing down quick as the transmission was now driving the engine) - put it in Neutral and restarted fine - continued on.
I have just replaced the battery in my FOB as I have only had the vehicle for about 4 months and do not know when it was last changed.
Could it have been the FOB?
I will update if it happens again.

Its simple, we have an overflow of Duelists and not enough populacool characters as Vanguarda ans Strategists. For me the fix would be stretching the characters a little in terms of lore to archetype. Sure, characters like Deadpool or Gambir obvoously fit more into the Duelist archetype, but that just furthens the status-quo, i think we desperatly need to get more and more popular characters for these roles, it just requires a little bit of willingness.

For context I’ve spent majority of the holidays studying and NO I’m not burnt out (as of now) bc I get enough sleep/take breaks, but I’m going into year 12 next week and all I’m thinking about is ‘what if I perform badly’ ‘what happens if I don’t score as well as I wanted to’ or ‘what if put in so much effort just for this or that’. I’m also worried that my best subjects will become my worst, given this year’s sacs cover a range of chapters whereas in year 11 we basically had sacs based on one chapter. Any advice/tips to deal with disappoint and stress from past students?? Anything will help
