Hi everyone! I'm planning a special trip with my mom to watch the Worm Moon and eclipse in March. We’ve always had a deep connection to the moon, so this is something we’re really excited to do together. Our options for this trip are limited to Southern CA due to time constraints.
I’ll be picking her up from LAX on 3/12 at 8:30 PM, and we’d like to drive somewhere from there to stay for two nights since the full moon is on 3/13. We’re hoping for a destination within a 90-minute drive of LAX.
Some important details:
- We’re open to anything from glamping to nice accommodations, but we don’t want to arrive late and have to pitch a tent.
- I’ve been looking at areas like western Malibu, LancastePalmdale, and Ojai, but I’d love more suggestions!
- Joshua Tree would be amazing, but it’s a bit too far for our tight schedule this time.

Hello. I wanted to write, kind of vent, because I've rescued animals for some time. Most don't get adopted, so I just have had to keep them. I currently have 7 dogs and 3 cats. All are large dogs. Last year I rescued two puppies from a neglected case. I really hoped they would get adopted because they look almost 100% pure breed. It didn't happen. So I said "it's ok. They'll adapt here to the rest and we'll be ok"... It didn't happen either. The other dogs hate them no matter how hard I tried to introduce them gently, try to make them get along... It's just hell. The puppies kept growing. I kept them in a pen for a while every day while the others were free, and then exchanged and put the big ones inside a small locked area for a couple of hours. But the puppies began escaping through every possible hole no matter how much I tried to mend and cover. They killed many chickens that were wondering freely outside and were trying to kill the rescued cats. One of the larger dogs bit one of them in the tongue when they tried to make friends with them through the fence.
A neighbor complained about the chickens and I understand. So I enlarged the pen as much a I could afford (about 30f x 20f) and decided to put the two of them there. I can't take them on walks because they are much stronger than me. If I only take one, the other screams like if she were dying. The situation is... It also rains A LOT where I live and their pen has become a mud pit. They have a concrete area with roof, but gets muddy as they walk around. It's horrible. Even I'm hating waking up every day and having to enter that pen to feed them. I try to play with them and try to make them happy. It's not working for me or for them. They're eating their houses, toys and anything they can find in the mud. All shelters are full, no one helps here. I've reached out to every person, shelter, entity I could think of. Nothing. I've tried absolutely everything... And I'm completely exhausted. To the point of hating waking up every day. I wish I could give them more and fix the pen. I can't. My financial situation doesn't allow me. I barely make ends meet... I cry a lot for them. I wish they could be at a better place and happier. But still nothing... I don't know what else to do.
This only worsens my major depression. I was diagnosed 8 years ago and I'm still battling with it... So, maybe you can imagine... Anyway, thanks for letting me vent... If you have any advice or just want to comment, I'd appreciate it.
(Btw, covering the mud with straw/hay doesn't work here, just in case you're wondering)

Chaos;Head Noah has been my first entry to the SciADV series and I have absolutely loved it, I'm about to finish the last few endings really soon and then I'll have done the 100% of it.
So, I initially thought of playing the games in release order, which means Steins;Gate (2009) should go before Chaos;Head LCC (2010).
But then I came accross this website in this very subreddit, which seems worth following for the extra content, and that's what I want to do. Since there are so many things, I thought it might not be worth it to look into all the release dates, so I could just follow it from top to bottom (all Chaos;Head stuff first, Steins;Gate later, and so on...).
What are your thoughts on this?
Just for the record, since the CoZ translation for LCC isn't out yet, I found a Spanish translation which probably works just fine. I'd rather play it in English, but it's fine either way. However, if someone has by any chance tried it out, I'd like to know whether it's a good translation or not.
