Question about wiring double electric wall oven.

My new double wall oven has black, red, white, and green wires. The wiring to the box where we unattached the old oven has black, black, and a braid of what look like aluminum wires.
My understanding is that both blacks are 240 (its coming from a double breaker). But is the braid both ground (green) and neutral (white)? In the old set up, both green and white were wired to this braid.

For anyone that has heard from UMD, what did your portal look like? I applied early Dec, and have been interview pretty much since then. I have no banner in my portal (I can't remember if there ever was a banner) and my file completed date and application status date is gone (also can't remember if that was ever there... I have too many apps open I can't remember what had what!) If you've gotten an interview or heard from them in any way do you mind sharing what you saw before getting your decision!

I have an 2011 mercedes e350 coupe and been wanting to make it sound better and more deeper, there isnt alot of youtube videos about this car and thought posting about it here will be better if you guys have done it but havent posted it. I know its a V6 so i cant make it sound that good but there's still a difference i can do to the exhaust. My thoughts are changing the resonators to magnaflow or flowmaster, and keeping the mufflers or should i do it the other way around. NOTE I DONT WANT TO STRAIGHT PIPE IT OR TO MAKE IT SOUND LOUD!!!

My loans were previously enrolled in the SAVE plan.
In August of 2024 I received a letter from my loan server (ED Financial) that states: On July 18, 2024, a federal court issued a stay preventing the Department of Education (ED) from operating the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan. As a result of this ruling, ED has directed Edfinancial Services to put your account into a forbearance. You can find more information at studentaid.gov/saveaction. What does this mean for me? While you are in this forbearance no payment is required on your account and your interest rate will be set to 0%. This means no interest will accrue while you are in the forbearance.”
Seems pretty clear to me. And on the current Student.aid.gov website it states that interest is NOT accruing. https://studentaid.gov/announcements-events/save-court-actions
Yet today, I discovered my interest has been accruing this whole time. I received a tax document that thousands of dollars have accrued in 2024. My balance is higher than it was a few weeks ago. There is not even a way to make a monthly payment with the payment plan in forbearance.
We have all been lied to by the Department of Education. Spreading the awareness. Anything we can do? Contact local US Congressman?

Hi everyone! I’m posting this as someone who graduated college last month with my bachelors in math and am wanting some guidance on next steps. I graduated from a super prestigious college and graduated with honors! I also earned my 8-12th grade teaching cert. in my state (KY).
I’m making this post, as I am wanting to relocate from Kentucky to a large city; Chicago is my current goal! I was originally hoping teaching there would be feasible, and I’m now not sure making the near cross-country move on a teacher salary, even a Chicagoan one, is feasible.
I’m asking if there’s ideas for other careers I could look into with my math degree. I would love to have something remote, due to the convenience of that, but am willing for anything. I love teaching so much, but am wanting something safer and something where I can exhibit my math skills more!
I just applied to 6 different PhD math programs for fall 2025 kinda all over the country, but fear due to the high competition right now, that making a backup plan would be best. Acquiring my PhD in math is my dream, though, so wish me luck!
Please give me some ideas, guidance, or advice :) im posting this here, as i am hopeful that there’s many more like me

I don’t know if anyone is using this subreddit but I thought I’d give it a try since Google has given me no answers.
Today I was playing crazy 8s with 4 people and we had a huge debate, here’s what happened. Player A played a 2, Player B picked up two and placed a 2. Player C picked up 4 but the pile didn’t have enough so we reshuffle and player C got his remaining. Then player C played another 2. Would player D then pickup 6 since there’s been a total of three 2s played and they would remain that way if the deck didn’t need to be re shuffled, or would player D only pick up 4 because there’s only two 2s that are seen on the deck.
Hope this makes sense, please help settle a debate or attach reliable links to prove points!
