Hi everybody id like to start off saying I am not a radical loser and Iād like to keep this post politic free. I am not Covid vaccinated and had a information session today for upcoming rad tech program in Illinois. I am religious and meet the requirements to get a religious exception although I have not needed to in the past and donāt have one currently. I inquired about this to the program director and she said their is absolutely no exceptions. Is this legal? I understand to a point but all hospitals where I would do my clinical hours allow religious exceptions. Id like anyone from Illinois or anyone who has gone through this to chime in. Please I led rather not get political this is not a post about politics. Also I have all other shots required for the program.

So I 18(m) opened my first brokerage account as of 3 months ago and have currently $3,400 in mutual funds and individual stocks. I keep hearing of this Roth IRA and I know what it is but Iām unsure because of status that I would be able to open one? I also donāt know if I need a job to open one because Iām not sure if I was misinformed or uninformed that you needed a job and that your employer would open the Roth IRA for you. Please let me know I just started getting into investing! I also want to know the tax implications of brokerage accounts and what happens if I sell my stocks. Does the tax implications lower if I hold for longer amount of time then just a year?

Hi all. I am just starting to look into weight loss meds. I have been overweight to some degree since I was a child and I'm 65 now. Just went on Medicare in November and since I'm not diabetic (I am prediabetic) I didn't think GLP1 would he an option since I can't afford out of pocket, but I do have sleep apnea so now Zepbound has been approved by Medicare for treatment I'm hopeful. š¤š¼š¤š¼š¤š¼š¤š¼
I'm currently looking for a new PCP on my Aetna Medicare Advantage plan. Does anyone have any advice on finding a dr who is on board? I don't want to choose a dr and then find out they aren't.
Next step is trying to find out if my plan covers it. I really hate dealing with insurance companies. I'm going to call them tomorrow to see if I can get an answer. The only time I have called them so far was about a dental issue and they gave me such a runaround I'm not looking forward to it. If I find out they don't cover it I am going to look for a plan that does. Anybody have any tips on how to do that?

The name we are considering for a child is extremely uncommon - it doesnāt show up on any of the US social security name list data, meaning it is given to less than 5 children per year in the US. (Not able to say the name for privacy reasons).
Iām from an ethnic and religious minority group. The name is an established and known name in our community. However, other names from our heritage that weāve considered have been given to anywhere from 20-200 kids per year. This specific name is our favorite but itās for some reason less common than the others, with less than 5 kids given the name.
Would this put you off the name at all? For some reason it kind of worries me. I canāt explain exactly why. But I love the name so much. For reference we also have an extremely distinct, rare last name.

Iām not sure if itās the filling recipe or if itās my poor technique, but the custard always gets a bit wrinkly once it cools down. The increased power demand narrative is being pushed a lot, but BEP is absolutely on sale right now. They are also in the nuclear space via their stake in Westinghouse. BEP is an out of favor, contrarian, value, and high yield way to play the hot trends. Someone change my mind. (Already tracking political/interest rate headwind and reduced hydro output risk)
Disclosure: Toeing in for a week. I currently only own 7 shares, bought 2 at the low today.

Hi all i bought a Stecs max throttle from vkb Canadian partner website late September and i am getting issue with the connection. I keep loosing the usb connection with the slightest vibration or movement in the cable i am pretty sure it's not from the cable as it work with my gladiator no problem wondering if anyone had issue with that also ? kinda bummed throttle was quite expensive and it has been sitting on a mount since day 1 and got about 100h on it.
