Hi everyone,
My family and I are cruising for the first time in October on the Disney Wish, and I’m looking for some advice. I know many people recommend staying on the ship in Nassau to enjoy the activities and amenities, but this will also be my daughter’s first time at the beach, and she’ll be five by the time we sail. I’m not sure when she’ll get another chance to experience it, so I’m wondering if it’s worth it to head to the beach in Nassau and Castaway Cay.
For those who’ve been to Nassau, can anyone recommend a good resort or beach club for families with young kids? We’re looking to relax and enjoy the sand and water.

I'll try to keep this short and to the point. A few months prior I (42M) ran across my wifes (40F) email left open on our PC shes had this same accout since she was a teenager and now thinking back was always a bit protective of this and I've never questioned why, until now. My wife is a very sentimintial person and keeps a lot of items for memories and will create new memories to look back on constantly. Upon looking around specifically the years prior to us dating theres emails from Ex's, friends ect. Theres also about a handful of Craigslist Casual Connections back and forth emails setting up hookups. I didnt know about these and we've talked about both our pasts in depth. I don't mind or care in the least that she had these experiances, obviosly we were not together then, good for her for exploring life. The shocking thing here is none of this was ever shared with me. We've talked about length about past realationships and she openly mentioned two hookups but they were not Craigslist realated and also about past realationships at length.
Why do women lie about this ?
If you're going to start the single most important realationship of your life out based on what may be seen an innocent lie, why bother? The other person can either choose to accept you for who you are or look for greener pastures.
Again, just to reiterate I don't care about the Craigslist hookups and am not one to get obsessed with body count, especially at this point in our lives its all very old news. But the lying does bother me.
My wife and I have regularly scheduled monthly meetings to sit down and have deep meaningful conversations for hours on end if needed about any subject imaginable. Emotional intimacy is very high and our sex life is more than when we were dating, at least 3-5x a week and sometimes more. While I havent asked specifically, I've been trying to set the stage for her to feel confortable sharing and her and I have both have shared even more details about ourselfs recently, but she will not touch this subject in the least. I've hinted at this a few times about anything more to talk about she will flat deny anything having to do with hookups we've never talked about previously.
I dont like thinking theres a lie in our marriage and would rather have a talk about this and simply move on. This is like getting a paper cut from your spouse everyday for the rest of your life and thats a bit hurtful to me.
Another item, I ran accross and email to and Ex. This person was the most serious of her realationships before us, this is about 3 years into our marriage subject line, "had a dream about you"
Hey Ex's name, I had a dream about you... made me thing about you today. Wifes name.
I am not a very jelous person and honestly wouuldnt mind if she maintained a friendly realationship with an Ex, this is on the edge for me. Should I care, this email is many years old now and her Ex never responded.
My wife sent him another email about a week after the first email above and was basically a link to a playlist of punk music they would have shared in while riding in his car together.
Ive seen a few emails where my wife and her ex have both sent pictures of both our and his wedding back and forth sharing their lives.
There's never been any cheating on either side but the lying to part stings the most. Should I ask her about this or bring up the emails to the ex?

2025.01.23 01:24 neytirijaded I finally got a decent sized piece of moldavite to meditate with
Now I’ve meditated with it once or twice before but the piece was maybe half the size of the piece I have now (probably worth $50 total). I decided to meditate with both of them and a tiny sliver of selenite.
I don’t meditate as much often due to anxiety about having headphones in (which I have to do to meditate) but when I do it’s for ten minutes. Near the end of my meditation today I noticed it was beginning to go very well, so I restarted my 10 minute meditation song. I went back and forth from chaotic thought to calm and serene, but the meditation ended more on the chaotic side.
Very soon I ended up feeling depressed for no reason. I used to have bad depression in my teens and early 20s, but it’s been more than a decade and I’ve only had small bouts of depression here and there and it was almost always situational. I now struggle with severe complex PTSD so more anxiety than depression.
Anyway I know moldavite can bring about heavy mood swings and such but what does it mean really? Should I continue working with the moldavite exclusively or switch around what I meditate with (I have almost 300 types of minerals)? Any thoughts would be helpful.
