What’s up /WC!
I just moved here downtown a couple of weeks ago from TN and would like to meet fellow enthusiasts. I’m 40M if that makes a difference.
For golf, I have a USGA handicap of 8 and looking to checkout some of the public courses around here or over in the city. I’ve played the Presidio and that was a beautiful yet challenging course.
I’m a decent skier and have all my own equipment. I’m not elite by any means but I do like to bomb groomed blues and can handle blacks. I’m hoping to get out to Tahoe (using my epic pass) soon! Looks like there’s a decent hostel that’s right next to the lift so having some friends to carpool (I have a car with roof rack) and hit the mountain with would be money!
Surfing, I’m super amateur but definitely want to get into it. I’ve got decent board skills from a lot of wake surfing back home but still learning to read and time waves and pop. 🤙

New to this group. I've been to three podiatrists, one orthopedic doctor, and one neurologist. All trying to decipher what I have. Just today ruled out neuropathy, but haven't ruled out SFN just yet, and I believe that's what I have. I also have Morton's neuroma, some bursitus, and a Baxter's nerve issue. Everything is being treated, except for SFN as that only recently cropped up as a possibility.
I thought I'd pass on a technique that my physical therapist told me about. I'm seeing him for overall foot strengthening. I told him about my hypersensitivity to socks and sheets. He said to try this:
Get two buckets, each large enough so both feet can fit in each at one time.
Fill one bucket with hot water, as hot as you can tolerate without scalding yourself. Fill the other bucket with ice cold water, also as cold as you can tolerate. For a lot of people you may not even have to add ice.
Put both feet in one of the buckets for one minute, then immediately switch to the other. Keep switching every minute. Do this for five or six minutes. Do this two to three times a week. It supposedly helps with desensitizing the feet. I've only tried it three times so it's still early to tell if it works. I have been able to wear socks up to two hours though, and for the past three months I haven't been able to wear them at all.
It's not pleasant but I'm hoping for long-term gains for short-term pain. (The first time was torture, I thought my toes would fly off my feet, but each time it seems to be getting easier to bear.)

Fairly new starter, when I finally figured out the terrible workday app I noticed there was holidays put in, one for a day I work and one for a day I don't.
I raised this with my manager as it wasn't their name on the notes and they said they'd look into it and eventually it was resolved.
Just logged in and it wasn't. I'm receiving two days holiday for days I didn't take on holiday. It's clear my managers aren't resolving this but I feel like this is fairly egregious.
Who can I speak to, head office etc.

Anyways, l've relapsed twenty minutes ago as of now and I'm just fucking tired of my pornography addiction. I'm so tired of lust. I'm so tired of it being in my life. I've came into contact with porn since I hit puberty. Twelve years old in 6th grade. All the way back to 2017. I'm almost twenty years old now. I lacked discipline to stay away from porn until I got a little older. Longest I've lasted was a month and a half without it. I used to last more than two weeks but now, I struggle to last more than a single week. I would go on over five days without it and bam, I get an urge from nowhere and it's some type of urge that makes me feel comfortable to relapse. I believe I lost my discipline. I dislike how my life has come to this. I've came to a point where's it's something that I don't want, I just need it. During December, I was planning on meeting a girl on New Year's and my goal was to not relapse to porn for the entire month. I was four days away from getting to meet her and I still fucking relapsed. I couldn't even fucking waited four more days. I was close to going three weeks without relapsing if I remember correctly. I was worried that my performance will be shit when I was going to have sex with her. Although, surprisingly, my performance was great when I did had sex with her. I actually didn't think of porn or anything. I was able to stay hard with her and have good orgasm. I’ll have to go sidetrack here from the main poir a little bit. First time I had sex, my performance Was garbage, because this was when I would watch porn almost every day.
Fast forward to of recent, I wouldn't watch and beat my meat every single day. Back to the main point, it has ruined my life. I've been battling this addiction for awhile now and I'm just exhausted from it. I genuinely believe I'm cursed now. I feel like I'm doomed to forever be a slave to lust. I'm probably just too far gone now.

I’m meeting with a recruiter tomorrow for the first time and before I talk to them I’m just wondering if I’ll be 100% disqualified for anxiety medication. A year ago my doctor had asked me if I felt anxious at all recently and I told her I had a competition coming up for jazz and she immediately just prescribed me propranolol for stage fright since I told her I was anxious for performing my solo infront of hundreds of people. It was last February that I had gotten the pills but I haven’t gotten any refills and haven’t even used half of them so I’m just wondering if that will make it so I can’t join. I’m also going to be graduating highschool in 5 months so If everything’s alright and goes good I have a bit until I would have to go to bootcamp.
