- All users HAVE TO put up user flairs ! The usual brands are all there in the list and there is an editable one for people to customize their flairs. Members who don’t own bikes or any form of motorised two wheeler can put up a user flair as “ Fellow Admirer”. Please do follow this as the reason has been explained in multiple posts earlier ie: to help people find others with same or similar bikes.

2025.01.23 03:30 Puzzleheaded-Kick828 How cooked am I ☹️
 | Took a turn onto a snow covered ice road while driving yesterday and slid her down into the curb sideways 😔. Was moving less than 5 mph but I could tell from how dead on I hit that it wasn’t going to be pretty. At first I thought it was only the rear wheel but after some inspection the front wheel was also cooked (no drive/steering connection). I got a tow to a lot and it was night at that point so I didn’t get a good damage inspection and thats where it’s sitting now until I can get it to a shop. At first I was hopeful for only some broken control arms/tie rods but I know there’s a high chance for hidden damage to the suspension or drive train that I can only see with it up on a lift. I recently finished Frieren, and I find the magic system really fun. If I understood it correctly, the system works based on the concept that if you can visualize doing something, you can achieve it. Ubel is a prime example of this, as she seems able to bypass hacks or durability if she thinks she could cut something.
What do you think of her being able to cut infinity? Isn't this a similar situation to the magic-resistant cloak?

Looking for Adventurers:
We’re searching for 3-4 players to round out a dedicated group (2 players and 1 DM) for a long-term Dungeons & Dragons 5e campaign. We use Roll20 for character sheets and as our virtual tabletop (VTT), and Discord for communication during sessions. We’re primarily looking for veteran players, due to the mechanical adjustments, but regardless of your experience, if you’re excited about immersive storytelling, meaningful challenges, and working together to shape a world, feel free and encouraged to apply.
What You Can Expect • A Collaborative Table We’re a group that values teamwork, creative problem-solving, and character-driven roleplay. Everyone has a voice, and we work together to create memorable moments. • Balanced Gameplay The sessions blend combat, exploration, and roleplay, with space for players to bring their own ideas and approaches to the table. • Progression Toward Campaign As we are currently rebuilding the party, the players are currently running through a modified version of The Lost Mine of Phandelver (modified to keep things fresh for old players, and to introduce newer players to our table’s mechanics) and will follow with another short module, as preparation requires, before transitioning into a homebrew campaign. This will give everyone a chance to build chemistry and get a feel for the world before diving in. Furthermore, one of the other players would eventually like to DM a Pathfinder game for the table, for which he and I would switch on and off as DMs as appropriate for the current story arcs. • A Fair and Engaging DM As the DM, I focus on making the world feel alive and the stakes feel real. I’m not here to railroad the story or coddle the party—I’m here to give you a space where your choices matter and victories feel earned. That being said, I’m neither here to be your enemy, and am willing to advise and engage with the players as much as is requested and reasonable.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal player is someone who: • Enjoys a mix of roleplay, combat, and exploration. • Works well as part of a team and respects other players’ spotlight moments. • Is open to tackling challenges, whether through strategy, creativity, or roleplay. • Can commit to weekly sessions on Thursdays at 6:00 PM PST (4-6 hours on average).
What Makes This Group Unique • A mix of laid-back fun and serious investment in the story. • A world shaped by faction dynamics, personal choices, and the group’s goals. • 3 Major Homebrew Elements: 1. A Luck System that harkens to Call of Cthulhu’s luck system. 2. An additional 3rd-Party Talent System which lightly emulates the intricate character building of the Pathfinder system. 3. Husband and I are working on planning our dream honeymoon abroad. We have multiple destinations in mind and want this to be a dream trip. Family friend is a travel agent and has offered services, however, they're quite costly (billing by hour for help with planning flights, hotels, itinerary). Would you do it? Is it worth it? Or should I just continue doing my own research and plan everything myself to the best of my ability? I feel like you can figure anything out now with google, TikTok, reddit, etc etc....

Basically what the title says. I 27(f) want to further my career and find something that is more fulfilling to me in my life. I currently live in northern CA I work as an operations coordinator. I make 27$ an hour currently. This job pays decent considering my experience and “qualifications” basically all I have is a GED and a little bit of operations experience from FedEx (less than 1 year ) but it is not at all fulfilling to me. My bills right now are very low because me and my bf do the roommate thing for now. My total monthly bills are around 1 grand. Not including extra expenses like food and gas or any essentials. My Bf supports my decision to want to go to school and suggested I take a (most likely significantly lower paying) part time job to be able to focus on school full time. He’s willing to help me with extra expenses outside of my monthly bills (rent, car note, etc.) and I feel like now would be the best time to do something like that. My bills are affordable I have support but for some reason I just can’t bring myself to make the decision. I’ve tried asking for advice from friends but I feel like there’s always a bias bc they want me to be happy and they know that I’m not happy with my current job. Not for any reason particularly it’s just not something I’m interested in or brings me joy to my life. I just don’t want to make any more decisions I’ll regret. Im sure this question has been asked before but would like some insight based on some details specific to my situation.
Ive also considered asking my employer if they would be on board with me having a flexible schedule to be able to go to school. Im still not 100% sure what I want to do so I haven’t brought it up to them yet. I want to get all my details figured out before I bring up the idea of me possibly not working there anymore.
