 | In Y2V7 when Ayanokoji brings them together so that they have a foundation for a group against Ichinoses way in her class i was happy. Now after the eventy of Y2V12.5 it's not really necessary BUT i can see nonetheless a way for them to interacting more together to reach class A. I like Kantaki tbh (only had a very very VERY bad moment in Y2V12) but otherwise i don't hate him or something. I'm excited to see what Y3 will bring. I have no one I can talk to about my situation so I’m venting on here. Also he’s never gonna see this, so fuck it.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this but I completely fell for him on accident. It honestly feels invalidating to even claim I’m heartbroken too because we were never together so that just makes this whole situation more embarrassing for me and gives me the ick.
But I really liked him. I liked him so much, I listened to his favorite song the day he told me what it was and would play it everytime on my drive home. Did I tell him that information? No. Did I particularly like the song? No. But I imagined him listening to it and enjoying himself that it was the reason I loved hearing it.
He also broke down my walls so quick I didn’t even notice. I hate and love how he was able to do that. No guy has ever had that patience with me before but he did and I’m sad he’s gone now.
We ended things abruptly but honestly it was my fault. I never should’ve replied back or played his game. I don’t think he even feels the same way I feel about him and I truly have no one to blame but myself.
I hate the closure I received even though it was once again my fault. I told him to block me. I told him to not reply back to my stupid annoying messages and he listened. All I really wanted tho was a stupid acknowledgment from him saying anything. I even said I’d be okay with a “K”! Pathetic I knowwwww but he’s truly someone who’s made me feel anything for a person and I hate that we’ll never talk again.
I know I’ll get over this eventually but it still hurts. So I’m just gonna let myself be sad for now then carry on with my life as he is with his. I also wish him and his family the absolute best and hope he finds a love with no complications.

Currently have the presonus but am considering replacing it with a scarlett solo as i have read that it is superior in nearly every way other than not having a midi connection slot, which i don't need anyway. For context i only plan to use it with an SM7B to record harsh vocals. Is it necessary to get the scarlett or is the audiobox sufficient?

I recently bought a home (in Far North Queensland) and want to do something nice with this space on the side of my house that currently serves as simply 'dead space' that adds to my mowing burden. I would love to turn it into a 'secret garden' of sorts. I am not sure what the metal poles are but suspect they are remnants of a previous structure. I am thinking of putting a shade up (it is very hot up here!) and a chair and some lovely (mostly native) plants and flowers. I already have a vegie patch on the other side of the house. I am hoping to create a 'frog hotel' also at some point but am not sure where to put that in my yard. I would welcome suggestions from others on how to turn this space into something special, as well as photos of other people's 'secret gardens' if they don't mind sharing.

I'm trying to figure out the sizes, I've read they run large, and I tried the jacket in a store which seemed to be my chest size, I'm a 42 R or L depending on the brand, but it felt bigger on me and they didn't have a size smaller. Does anyone have any experience with that brand and sizing. I checked other jackets and confirmed i'm still a 42. I can't find a 40 in stores anywhere and its a lot of money to just buy the wrong size.

2025.01.23 05:38 dopplershift94 A reminder that it’s always going to be there
Tonight I went out to dinner with my friends and it was a good couple of hours of fun. Although I didn’t drink because I know alcohol is a depressant. But as I walked back to my car to drive home, a sudden sleep attack came on and I seriously contemplated if I would end up just sleeping on the snowy asphalt of the parking lot, but I made it to my car.
I reset myself and resisted the urge to take a nap in my car. I did make it home.
But that moment reminded me that although I have a much better control over my narcolepsy due to the switch to Sunosi & being very rigid about my sleep schedule (even on the weekends), avoiding naps, and avoiding substances like alcohol that there it’s always going to be there and it’s always going to be a part of me. I feel like it doesn’t happen in front of my friends and I don’t need to take naps as often so I kind of stopped mentioning to people that I had narcolepsy. I didn’t want it to be who I was to other people.,
This was also the case back in December when the pharmacy ran out of Sunosi so I had to go back on Modafinil for two days. I learned how quickly things can go back. And I’m constantly worry about losing access to my medication & falling back into my old ways.
But I have to remind myself of the progress that I have made and how I went from no control over it to not having to take naps most days.
It’s hard, but I have to accept that the narcolepsy will always be a part of who I am no matter how much I want to believe that it’s not.
