honestly feeling so sick over this for so many reasons but do we think this is going to heavily impact admissions? are universities going to have to cover stipends and stuff now? if they aren’t allowing more grants at this time or in the near future how will this effect dissertation research? i know there’s not answers to all of these but i’m really freaked out i can’t feel my dreams slipping i can feel the importance of research being completely diminished. when i reapply should i be looking at schools not in the US

Hello! My name's Layla, and I've been modding Skyrim for years! I know a good amount about modding, but have come across a speedbump. I've recently installed some CBBE mods (Not for skimpy purposes, lol, just like the character customization.) and now everytime I put armor on my character it crashes. I tried deleting aforementioned mods and starting a new game file each time I do that, yet to no avail.
Some advice would be very helpful! My knowledge isn't that great on what to do here, haha.

I know there’s been a lot of healer appreciation posts but honestly worse than having one too many dps is when you’re on competitive and you have a healer that thinks they’re a dps. When you’re building your team and you have 2 healers you’re expecting them both to heal, I don’t even notice how many of our loses have come from expecting to be healed then seeing that the healers pushing on the other side of the map just trying to get kills, or even worse when they’re right next to you and are focused on blasting enemies. I end up playing support a lot and I appreciate the people that play it and focus and helping the team but god damn some of you piss me the hell off 😭

Last review for exquisite extracts, they also sent a cart but I don’t feel like opening and trying it right now and I’m also a little iffy about carts but I’m sure it is amazing. The strain is pressure, same as one of the jars I got. I have given a review for that as well check it out.
Review:
Smell: Citrique delivers a strong, citrus fruit-like aroma. It’s fresh and really pleasant in my opinion. I really like the smell (3.8/5)
Texture: Extremely saucy—probably the sauciest out of all the samples I tried. It’s not my personal favorite texture since it can be harder to handle, but it’s fresh and consistent. (2.4/5)
Flavor: The flavor is similar to the smell nothing too crazy just a basic nice flavour. Doesn’t come through like melon jelly though. (3/5)
Potency and Effects: Citrique offers a good quick high—not too overwhelming, but you’ll definitely feel it. It’s clearly Indica heavy. (3.6/5)
Quality and Freshness: The resin felt fresh and burned cleanly, leaving no noticeable residue. Despite the texture being very saucy, it didn’t feel too sticky or hard to work with. (4/5)
Price: Free (10000/10)
Thoughts:
Citrique is a solid strain with a fruity profile. Def something you can keep to smoke before bed when you just wanna sleep. Anyways this was very interesting thank you for not banning me lmao. I just have to say I have no complaints all of them smack my favorite was melon jelly and fried ice cream. Nothing wrong with them and I’ve no complaints with any of it. stop hate mongering guys instead help the community grow!! :)

I was in the process of choosing a breeder for my next SD prospect (Golden Retriever), and I reached out to one of the breeders I was very interested in by sending in a puppy application & a lengthy email. The reply I got simply stated: “Sorry I do not sell any pups as service dogs in training... Thanks for your inquiry.”
I was very surprised, considering this breeder is well known & supposedly produces high quality dogs. The health clearances / reports on K9Data were all available / up-to-date. The dogs are beautiful. Supposedly they have great temperaments.
I realize the only one who could give me a concrete answer to my question is the breeder themself, but… I don’t really want to reach back out 😅.
At first I thought maybe it could be because, if the dog washed (i.e. failed out of service work), he / she might not have a home. But, I explicitly stated that, even if the dog did wash, I would keep him / her as a pet with no problem.
The only other conclusions I can think of is that they are either ableist, or they don’t know how to temperament test / place a pup for service work. But the inability to temperament test seems unlikely, given their reputation. Or, maybe they think working as a SD is unethical…? Seems odd, but… I dunno!
I’m curious as to the thoughts of others here? 🌻

2025.01.23 03:33 FistfullOfSeals Cold Snap Kills Battery Every Year in
Hi, I drive an A3 2011 TDI, and this is the third winter in 4 years that my battery has been (seemingly) completely ruined by a cold snap. I live in Michigan and it’s been in single digit temperatures (and into negatives) here. When I tried to start my car today, the engine didn’t even start to turn on - all I got was the dashboard lights blinking in rhythm with a mid tempo clicking sound. I tried to jumpstart it, letting the jumping car run for quite a while, and while the electrical was back on (I could actually turn on my headlights!) I still couldn’t start the car. I came back later tonight and now the dashboard lights don’t even turn on.
This is the third time this problem has come up, and in the past I fixed it by replacing the battery - but I’d like to not have to buy a new battery every year. Any idea what’s going on?
