2025.01.23 03:33 Dandercore Is it possible to stutter synth tracks on circuit tracks?
I just got a tracks and am working on my first track. I immediately ran into a dealbreaker as I want to put 4 bass notes per step. Is there any way to do this? An arpeggiator would solve the problem, but they seem to have forgot to put one in there. It appears that the micro steps are the solution but there are 6 (WTF, why not 8???) and it appears you can’t put multiple notes in the micro steps on the synth or midi tracks anyway.
Am I missing something or is this sequencer seriously limited? Everyone seems to agree that the tracks is a great first step into DAWless production but I hit these limitations on day one. I am scared to see what other logical functions are missing.

So I got a random text from a number I didn’t know in a city I don’t know anyone in. Pretty common. Someone looking for John. I’m not John. Then got a second one. And a third while I was in a meeting. Generally don’t touch my phone during work so all of this was through my watch.
But then I got a phone call from the same number. Didn’t answer. Two minutes later another call same number. Finally decided to pick it up but said nothing. It was a legit sounding woman with a heavy Asian accent. Broken English. She asked for John. I hung up. But immediately got a text from the number again. The persistence annoyed me but I was more intrigued by the phone call.
Anyway this person did the standard pig butchering thing with a hot Asian chick and broken English and asking questions. Nothing new. I stopped responding just around the time I got the request to go to telegram and she sent a second picture (same girl at least).
The phone call part is weird. It sounded like an Asian girl (sorry can’t pin down accent) in a car. I’ve seen a few of these in the last few years and had some friends with similar stories. But never a phone call. Is this the evolution?
And I know I shouldn’t engage but alas I did.

Aspiring male author attempting to understand. I'm introducing a female character (the protagonist) and i intended to write no more than a few words to point out that she is curvy and has a noticeable bust. I don't want to make it anything like "she breastily boobed down the stairs, awooga" or any other example where the narration itself is clearly drooling over her. More like "she had a noticeable/large hourglass figure/bust/curves" or something similarly lowkey and leaving it at that, after the rest of the description of what she looks like eg hair, face, clothes she was wearing, height etc.
i gather though that this is already enough for some people to consider it a sexualisation, that i wouldn't describe a male character like that, etc, but my reasoning is that it's simply there. in real life or visual media, it's not like you would deliberately avoid noticing someone's bust or legs or whatever, you would just notice it at the same time as you notice what she wears. and if i'm trying to help the reader visualise the scene, i it's something that bears mentioning. if a male character is bulky or muscular (or lean/lithe, for that matter) i would certainly say that as well. Anyway, I'm trying to find the right way to go about this. For what it's worth, I intend it to be a "serious" story. the protag is meant to be sexy, but not sexualised. it's not erotica but I do want to include a sex scene much later down the line, though it will emphasise romance & emotion/catharsis rather than titilation.
am i overthinking it, or do i need to change my approach/writing?

Hey, I'm Shortie! I've been on a hiatus for a bit, but I'm back to start something new! I'm 26, I work regularly through the week, and I have the weekends off. Unfortunately, I get little to no signal at work, so responses during the week are a bit slower. I live in the CST timezone in the US. I've been roleplaying for over 10 years off and on, and I consider myself to be semi-literate to literate. Of course, I make mistakes with grammar, spelling, and whatnot like any other person, but I always do my best. Lately, I've found myself writing in third person, past tense, but I'm flexible. I like to write at least one paragraph per response, but it can change from response to response. I'll always try to at least write more than one sentence. I'll always try to respond at least once a day, or let you know in advance.
I'm looking for a partner who will play a male character. All partners must be at least 26 years old, and preferably no older than 30. I'd like my partner to be at least semi-literate, and write at least a paragraph per response, though it can fluctuate over time. I also understand mistakes happen, so I'll try not to be too picky. I, at least, ask that you write similar to how I'm writing here. Proper capitalization and punctuation is a minimum for me. I'd prefer third person, but not required. Lastly, I ask that you respond at least once a day, or let me know what's going on. Life comes first for both of us, so I'm just asking for mutual understanding there.
Also, I'm fairly flexible, so if you don't meet these perfectly or better than these, don't stress.

How do large agencies manage Meta Business Portfolios without requiring employees to use their personal Facebook accounts?
I’ve tried setting up work email-linked Facebook accounts, but they’re often banned or restricted. (However some work fine and are running without restrictions) Support even suggested this method, but it doesn’t seem reliable. At the same time, another support agent said the only way would be using personal accounts, but I want to separate work/life for my coworkers…i’m getting such conflicting answers.
Im curious are there better ways to handle this? Whats the best practice? Would love to hear what’s worked for others!
