2025.01.23 05:55 geneisachamp It’s been 12 days and I’m learning just how nonlinear grief is
We had to put down my baby sweetheart 12 days ago just shy of her turning 11 months. When we got her at 7 weeks old we could have never imagined what was ahead. She was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease at around 3ish months and afterwards we did everything we could to keep her happy and healthy. We were at the vet’s just about every month and in November we spent a lot of time in the emergency/specialist vet. December things were seeming stable/better. But then all of a sudden in January it got worse. We were used to her getting sick and needing fluids but this time they found a kidney stone that could only be removed with a specialized surgery estimated to cost $20k and even if we had that kind of money, it would be a lot to put her through since she’d likely need it again and her kidneys had already taken additional damage every day that the blockage was there. I had dropped her off for what I thought was going to be 24 hour fluids and that same day we got all this news. It felt like getting punched and losing all your air. With some pain meds we were able to take her home for one last night and spend a final day with her doing her favorite things. The most heartbreaking part was seeing her still be “so puppy” even when her kidneys were failing her. Like even through the trembling and clearly not feeling well, she was still excited to be with us, have treats, and run at the park. Since then, the grief is becoming more manageable but it really just depends on the day. These days it’s the little things that wreck me, the regular life stuff without her. I just can’t believe how quickly it all happened, her life and her death. Life is really just so unfair sometimes.

I’ve been tufting for a few months now and have been building up a small collection for art markets, and I’ve had a few commissions, but how can I get consistent clients?
I know it’s not going to happen quickly, and it could take years to make it a legitimate business where I can quit my day job, but I really want this to work out, and I need the work desperately. I also make content on my social media accounts, but it doesn’t really do anything in terms of getting leads.
I’m at a bit of a loss right now with no art markets going on in my area at the moment.

i know im posting twice in a row but i had this realisation that i collect stickers to an unhealthy extent and i noticed my mom mentioned she did collect FILES of stickers in her 20s and now she collects 红包s (red packets) bc of its designs etc, and she has a box full of it.
I dont even know if i can call myself a hoarder or whatever it just feels bad to have that label but i genuinely want to find enjoyment in other things :/

I went off on my LMP and I'm very regular. I also tracked my ovulation and since we have a 6 month old, we could only schedule intimacy that one time during the whole week.
Went in last Saturday at what was 7w2d and saw a sac measuring 6w5d + a yolk sac (transvaginal ultrasound). I remember during my son's time, I had an amazing ultrasound with a good heart beat etc. Should I have any optimism at this point?

2025.01.23 05:55 Reddituser21_ People who consistently get 10k steps consecutively for the year, how do you do it?
I was so amazed at the end of last year when I realized that some people were able to get 10,000 steps every day for a year (Y’all are my personal heroes). That was my goal for this year, but I failed within the first month🤣. I work out six days a week but the one day I do not work out I cannot motivate myself to get off my bed and walk for no reason, to go nowhere. Moreover, it’s freezing where I live (I HAAAAATTTTEEEE the cold). How do you keep yourself motivated to get your 10,000 steps every day, even on your rest day. I’ll take the tips to try again next year :(.
