PI is total crap
From the cheap app, to the ads every time you open the app, to kyc, to so-called places where you can buy with pi but no one knows where??? to them saying PI will be avail for trade in December of 2023 but pushed launch so many times and close to jan 31 deadline and update?, the fact that there are 100 billion coins, the fact that basically all users are poor people from 3rd world countries that are interested in just selling pi.
i strongly believe they’re looking for an active app userbase to sell. even IF someone buys this company and DOES launch, not enough ppl/whales (who can actually pump) know of this coin, and therefore will sell at .50-$1 if anything. especially w everyone losing their wallets after all these years (because the owners want to show value). all your hard work over the years is for nothing. they’re using it to portray how much they’ve invested (scammed) from the layman.
google “skull & bones” by ubisoft. same concept except they aren’t financially obligated to release. so they can string you along for years to come!!

2025.01.23 04:05 DryStar359 My mom’s house burnt down today.
Yesterday in my mom’s small town there was a fire on main street that took out 4 buildings, the ones that are conjoined. We were worried about my grandfather’s apartment & my mom’s mother-in-laws house catching fire because they also live in town. It took 11 hours for the firefighters to put it out. This morning in the next town over, someone’s house burnt down. Around 11am my stepdad was taking the dog outside & chatting with the neighbor when he realized the house was on fire. My mom was at work, my sister was at school. I messaged them both asking how the fires in town were doing. My sister said their house is on fire & my mom called me. Thankfully everyone is physically okay & that’s the only bright side to this situation. But there’s nothing salvageable in the house. My big brother died 9 years ago & my mom had all of his belongings in her room; his clothes, a build a bear from 2006 he made at my birthday party & his ashes. My sisters dogs ashes were also lost in the fire. My mom told me on the phone the porch & my old bedroom were on fire. When I got there I saw smoke pouring out of her bedroom window & in that moment I no longer felt my brothers spirit with me. It’s like his spirit went up in flames with his ashes & that bear. Last week my boyfriend & I spent the night there because he just had surgery & it was just easier for us. We stayed in her room. I showed him all the pictures she has. i showed him the build a bear. I told him the story of how everything in here, including the bear, survived my grandpas apartment fire back in 2016 months before he died. In my grandpas fire everything was lost except things that belonged to my brother. We still have access to other ashes of his so they’re not completely gone. I have 2 hoodies & 1 t shirt of his, i’m going to give my mom one of the hoodies & my sister his t shirt.
Thankfully they have a roof over their head for the time being, friends of theirs have an extra house. They’re well known in their community & their community is rallying around everyone who was displaced in the recent fires. My cousin pulled together donations today & I got them to my family. One of my best friends & her family are pulling donations together as well. I do believe they’ll all make it through this. But they had so many belongings they’ll never get back. My mom had a rough life & built herself up & that’s her first home. She was so proud of herself. It’s just so unfair they all have to go through this trauma. My parents are in their 50s how does someone even start over like this. They’ll survive, it’s just going to be a long, taxing road.

In their comments to TheVerge, BambuLabs qualified all of their requirements on using BambuConnect as applying to “our current product line”, this includes the author asking about subscriptions going forward.
And that’s what all of the discussions to this point have missed - there’s a new Bambu printer coming out Q1 2025. So that new printer (and new printer line potentially) will be subject to restrictions and subscriptions that the current Bambu lineup won’t see.
Yay for current owners!!!! or…….the new lineup will have features that will NEVER be migrated to current printers. So if Bambu releases a new lineup of printers that are locked in to some form of subscription, would everyone here feel the same as they do now about Bambu’s new policy?

2025.01.23 04:05 Moon_man_1224 I feel like I have a detrimental affect on anyone I care about.
I'm not really sure if this is the correct sub but I need to express this.
When I was 16 I started dating my first actual love. I'm sure everyone knows what young love feels like. Unfortunately after 2 years she was diagnosed with leukemia. She passed when I was 19. This seems was the start of my cancer journey.
I grew up with my mother she was a single parent. My biological father was and still a piece of shit. My mother's boyfriend was a big part of my life. He eventually adopted me as an adult. He got throat cancer when I was 24 I moved to be with him. After roughly 6 months I took him to every chemo and radiation appointment. I took care of him I'm not sure if you've dealt with this but he had dementia episodes on top of everything else. Which is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I was the primary caretaker and I was proud to do it. He passed in my hands in my living room.
I then started dating someone. She had 2 kids obviously I didn't meet them for about a year after we were dating because it's probably better. We got along great and finally after a while she moved in with me with her kids. They would go to their father's on the weekend s. Obviously I didn't try to parent or discipline her kids when they first moved in they were 9 and 12. We lived together for about four years then my gf was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It was very fast acting. Once again I was there to help between chemo and radiation and sickness. Unfortunately she passed and since we weren't married I had no legal right to her kids I helped raise and love. The one thing that broke me more than losing my love at the time was her kids crying not understanding why they couldn't stay with me. We keep in touch now which is good.
Now I have been with my current gf for about 4 years and she just got diagnosed with breast cancer. I will do my duty and take care of her and whatever she needs. I have been through it so many times I will make sure she doesn't need to worry and do my best.
All my friends from hs have passed in the past 5 years from overdoses or suicide.
At this point I'm starting to think I'm just bad luck and everyone I care about just leaves.
I'm sure people will say to have some sort of counseling which I have done. I can't help but feel like I'm bad luck on the world.
