I'm very close to pulling the trigger on this range. I was looking at something upmarket, but Consumer Reports loves this one with the score of 93. I have a Frigidaire Gallery gas range now and it's been a great performer for me, so I have an affinity for the brand. My local appliance store that I have used for over 20 years will also sell it to me for $1100, so if I don't like it it's no big loss. I could actually move it to my dad's place if I don't love it as there is an electric range there that is about ready to be replaced. All he does is boil water and it would be good at that.
One thing I am seeing is the burners are a little bit smaller diameter than you find on LG or GE. Is that a problem in actual use, can any owners chime in for me please? I will be using some induction ready Cuisinart stainless steel, and Le Creuset and Lodge cast iron with it. None of my pieces are exceptionally big. The biggest thing that would go on it is a standard stock pot and Dutch oven.

In between season 2 and season 3, there was an edit on YouTube I watched (so probably 10 year old edit). The song used was Clarity by Zedd/Foxes but the version was stripped down and emotional. It wasn’t the Acoustic Foxes version. It wasn’t the Kurt version. It may have even been a cover that was pitch changed by the creator .
I’ve looked through pages and pages of YouTube and found lots of edits using a version of the same song (Clarity) but none are ‘my version’.
It’s a long shot but maybe someone here remembers it and has a saved copy somewhere.
I loved watching this video for a good cry but it’s gone. I’m sure it was saved in my YouTube so it’s probable that the original video edit was deleted bc it’s not in my list anymore.

Hey friends. I need immediate feedback because I have a flight attendant interview in one day. I’m extremely nervous. I haven’t interviewed at a job in over four years. The job I’m at currently didn’t require an interview.
I have a lot of concerns with being a flight attendant. Makes you wonder why I applied in the first place. The applications opened up on my birthday and I saw it as a sign. My mom really wants me to become a flight attendant (she would love to use the flight benefits). She does not know that I have this interview tomorrow. Only one person knows, a friend.
My first concern is of course how I’ll do during the interview. I’ll be honest I did not study for this interview. I’m a college student and that’s been my main focus. I’m also a mail carrier so that takes a lot of my time. Props to you all that work, go to school and have kids lol. Time has gone by so fast, I can’t believe we’re already at the end of January.
My other concern is my weight. I weighed myself at 278 pounds this week. while I have weight blindness sometimes, I know I’m overweight. I’m crying internally that there’s a possibility that I won’t be able to strap the jump seat seatbelt. I don’t want to be embarrassed.
Another concern of mine is the pay. I heard that flight attendants only get paid flight hours and a lot of the time they’re on shift, it’s free labor. As a rural male carrier, we do a lot of free labor as well. We don’t get paid by the hour, we get paid evaluation. It sucks, but I’ve been putting up with it for 2.5 years so that’s not a major concern of mine. Still bothersome though.
Another concern of mine is money. A ton of flight attendants have said that it’s best to have some money saved up before becoming a flight attendant, because the checks will be low. Not to mention, the training pay for the airline I’ll be interviewing with is only $7.25. Insane. Speaking of training, I’ve since learned that even though you pass the interview stage, that doesn’t mean you’ll get the job. You have to pass the training period which is 6-7 weeks. Understandable, but if you don’t pass it, what job will you go back to? You quit your job to do the flight attendant training.
I’m wondering if I’ll be able to pass the training with my weight. I’m being open and honest. I get tired quickly, and run out of breath from going up stairs. It’s embarrassing typing this because I didn’t grow up overweight. I did this to myself.
I’m considering emailing the airline, and declining the interview offer. I heard that Delta opens applications every six months, and I am open to applying again. I would want to spend the next couple of months getting in shape and saving some money. What do you all think? Would love to hear from some flight attendants. The airline my interview is for is Delta.

Bakit ganun, feeling ko na-take advantage ako ng isa kong friend. Dati kong kasama sa work pero nung naghiwalay na kami ng landas, nag uusap at naging magkaibigan pa rin kami. Years na friendship namin.
So ngayon, fast-forward may part-time work ako ngayon na favorable sa isa kong full-time work. Meaning, pasok sa schedule ko yun 2 jobs since need ko yun 2 work.
Background is dati ng nag-work dito yun friend ko na tinutukoy ko pero umalis din due to medical reasons 1-2 years ago.
Last month, nag decide ako na mag-apply sa 2nd job as a Part Time work na pasok sa schedule ko then few days ago nag usap kami ng friend ko about sa work.
Nasabi ko na okay naman ako sa fulltime and part time work ko. Yun current work nya kasi now is medy sablay ang schedule (note: 2 jobs din sya tulad ko, pero pangit sched nya broken schedule kumbaga)
Nung una nasabi ko na, parang hiring ng full time worker yun 2nd job ko since pinagtatanggal sa work yun dalawang fulltime worker ng amo.
Unang sagot ng friend ko, hindi na raw sya babalik sa 2nd company (part time ko) since nagka-problema nga sya sa health nya at sinisisi nya yun company na to. Then sabi ko okay.
After today nagtatanong sya sakin if may available pa ba na slot (2nd job) sa parttime ko since balak na nya umalis sa isang work nya at gusto nya yun parehas ng work schedule ko.
Sabi ko sakanya as of now, hindi need yun sa same schedule ko at puno na yun slot.
Then after few hours, nag message ulit sya sakin may sasabihin daw sya sakin. Sabi ko ano yun?
Baka raw magka-conflict kami since gusto rin nya yun sched ko sa 2nd job (part time ko)
And nagsend na pala sya ng message sa Amo ng part time ko (since dati sya nagwork doon at may contact pa sya siguro sa amo) na nagtanong sya kung may available work slot pa sa 2nd job ko ngayon.
Medyo na-off lang ako sa friend ko kasi nung nag ask lang sya na magsend ako ng pictures ng company since parang nag iba na raw yun itsura and facilities ng 2nd job ko. And i am aware na wala syang balak mag work na doon.
Then after few days eto na situation.
Ayoko mag-overthink pero nakaka-off lang. Kung matanggal ako, meron pa naman ako isang work pa. Pero okay kasi yun 2nd job kaya nakakapang hinayang at yun income.
ABYG Kung ma-feel ko na ginamit lang ako for the sake of maging option na makalipat sya ng work?
Possible din kaya na tanggalin ako at ipalit sya sa 2nd job ko?

Foaming hat cleaner making things worse I had a small stain at the front of the crown of my "new" used hat and thought I'd try some foaming hat cleaner to get rid of it. After applying, letting dry and brushing; the whole front of the crown seems dirtier. I tested it first on a spot on the underside of the brim to make sure it wouldn't stain. I also sprayed the cleaner over the whole hat, so I don't know why it's only certain places that seemed to get dirty. Any advice on how to fix this?

In a moment of feeling very overwhelmed i just can’t deal with feeling used again after having had a situationship end. And the stupid part is that it only lasted barely 3 months and i STILL ruminate over it. I hate that analyze and over analyze like a vicious negative loop. It’s been going on 4 weeks of no contact, the last time we hung out it wasn’t great and i got too drunk and he slept with me and i stole a bottle from his car and he blocked me. I haven’t made an attempt to reach out and i never will because I REFUSE TO BE WEAK. I just hate how he’s already moved on and hasn’t reached out and i got played and this guy uses women - he was using a girl who was a friend for free rent and now he’s talking to this really pretty girl and things look like they’re going great and i hate that iknow this because we have mutuals and there are just some things she’s alluded to and I’m like oh yeah they’re talking - WHY DO I CARE, WHY CANT I LET THIS GO AND MOVE ON, ITS BEEN 4 WEEKS OF NO CONTACT LIKE I CANT SHAKE THIS. I’m starting to think soul ties are real or he put a curse on me and i hate that I feel this sorry for myself but seriously how do people just bounce back like nothing and i tried talking to this one guy but Jesus Christ first question out of his mouth was so vulgar i just stopped. I keep praying and stopped drinking to help myself but it’s like i can’t stop going over the situation in my head. Some days i hate him so much and other things i think I’m getting better just to spiral again like today. Honestly kinda traumatized from the whole thing i don’t want to date again anytime soon - and yet he gets to carry on with another pretty girl like nothing happened. I just feel so gross and low. And mad.
