Hello everyone, I’ve observed a sudden and significant discrepancy in website traffic since late December. Our news and articles website typically generates around 25K traffic per day. For e.g. I noticed that while on 20 Jan reflected 25K, on 21 Jan dropped drastically to 8–9K. This is happening twice in a week. This has never occurred in the past, and we haven’t changed our practices.
Interestingly, when I compare the traffic using the Clicky tool, the drop is minimal, showing only a difference of 1K–2K. When comparing traffic sources, GA4 often shows a substantial difference of 8K users specifically from direct or organic traffic. This behavior is unusual because, in the past, traffic discrepancies (e.g., a 5K difference) would be proportionally spread across sources—2K from organic, 1K from direct, 2K from other sources, etc.Upon reviewing the GA4 configuration, I found the following issues:
- GA4 suggests removing the old UA tag and replacing it with the new G-tag.
- Some pages on the website are not tagged.
- Additional domains have been detected for configuration.
- What should I do about these issues? I came across some suggestions online advising to ignore the last two errors—is that advisable?
- If I replace the UA tag with the new G-tag, will this affect the existing data on GA4? Will the historical data from my website be erased after replacing the UA tag, considering I am still using the older UA tag?

Heute war wirklich anstrengend. Ich habe nichts anderes gemacht als mich auf eine Prüfung vorzubereiten. Ich habe sogar ein Training zu Hause gemacht. Vor einiger Zeit habe ich kleine Hanteln und Scheiben gekauft, damit ich zu Hause trainieren kann, wenn ich keine Lust aufs Fitnessstudio habe. Natürlich kann ich weniger damit tun, aber ich komme trotzdem ins Schwitzen. Es funktioniert sehr gut an Tagen, an denen ich wenig Zeit habe oder nicht genug Zeit habe, um ins Fitnessstudio zu gehen.
Je mehr ich über die Prüfung nachdenke, desto mehr Schiss kriege ich davor. Ich habe mehr Angst davor als beim ersten Mal. Es liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass ich weniger Zeit hatte und mich weniger darauf vorbereiten konnte. Jetzt gibt es keinen Grund, warum ich sie nicht schaffen sollte. Um 11 Uhr treffe ich mich mit zwei anderen Studenten, die die Prüfung ebenfalls zum zweiten Mal ablegen werden, um gemeinsam zu lernen. Bisher habe ich niemals mit anderen gemeinsam gelernt, ich kann mir das nur schwer vorstellen, aber ich habe schon zugesagt. Es kommt mir ein bisschen sinnlos vor, aber der Typ, der mich eingeladen hat, ist sehr nett und ich mache sonst nichts mit Leuten an der Uni. Vielleicht wird es doch hilfreich sein. Danke fürs Lesen.

Not an upsc aspirant.
I run a printing shop where we occasionally do form fillups. So a girl came and she wanted to fill up form for upsc prelims. I was bored so why not. After two hours of struggle i filled the entire of OTR.
I went through notifications and found that there are 4 parts of online form fillup. I just did the first one so far. Now i tried searching for part 2 form fillup, i couldn't find anywhere.
How can I fillup the form now.

I am going to get an eye test tomorrow for glasses. Just in general.. light outside is bright, I squint in my right eye, etc. But let's face it. I'm older and I've been using computer as long as I can remember.
I currently have dual 27 inch IPS monitors, 1440p, 165hz. I turned up the scaling a little. I was previously considering moving up to dual 32 inch 4K monitors.. would those be better or worse on the eyes, or not really any difference outside of looking nicer?

So I applied for a job a few weeks ago and got called for an interview that I did 2 weeks ago. I thought I did pretty well and the panel said “it was a great interview” (of course I understand they probably just said that to be polite). A few days later I got a rejection call followed by an email to confirm the rejection, so I assumed they found a better candidate. No big deal. I sent the panel a “thank you for the opportunity” email to be gracious. None of them replied to my email.
Fast forward to yesterday, I saw the exact same role advertised again. This obviously indicates that none of the people they interviewed were a good fit, and also obviously I didn’t do as well as I thought I did in the interview!
Should I apply again? I can’t get past the fact that none of the panel acknowledged my thank you email but I still feel like giving it another go.
