I can’t help but notice that almost every story Bronwyn tells has holes in it. Every time she says something she’ll switch it up later in the conversation. For example at the spa with Lisa …she said she made her father call her ex’s parents to talk to them. It was insinuated that there was a conversation between her father and the parents. Then later she corrects Lisa says he only left a voicemail. Something seemed off in the conversation. On the reunion in regards to her “purchasing” the necklace, even Andy read the texts on Lisa’s phone with the jeweler and clearly she was unhappy with bronwyn as a customer.
I don’t know something rubs me the wrong was about her. I’m curious to other insight.

For more context. I’m currently living in a shared room dorm. Recently me and my roommate have been clashing about the amount of time he spends in the room. For example. Pretty much every minute he’s not in class, he spends in the room. He does everything from working out, to eating in the room. I know he has social anxiety, and I really try to work with him. But it gets ridiculous when I rarely get more than 30 minutes of alone time in the room. On top of this, he doesn’t often respect my opinions about when I want the lights off. When I voice these, I’m usually met with a very rude or entitled response. I am more than happy to work with him and come to some compromise, but it feels like he just expects me to cater to his every wish. In the past when I’ve asked him to change his behaviors, he makes some sort of excuse why he can’t. There have been other issues where he’s invited people over without asking, after I’ve expressed my frustration with his behavior. Tomorrow or Friday, me and him are going to fill out the roommate agreement. How can I bring up his behavior to him without him getting defensive?

Hi all, I'm still in my planning stages for my trip to England next year and know that London has a massive and diverse food scene.
I watched an episode of Chefs Table a few months ago before I knew I was going to visit London. This particular episode featured Chef Asmas and Darjeeling Express. It sounded really yummy and I loved the story.
I've been on a bunch of food recommendation subreddits, and folks continuously recommend Dishoom and Gymkhana(Michelin star Indian food) a lot.
I'm not super huge on spending an arm and a leg on food I can cook at home (I'm of Indian decent and we have loads of amazing North Indian food where I'm from in Canada). But Darjeeling Express being Bengali food and not something we have here, I'm quite curious.
Looking at the reviews, folks seem to say it's good but over priced for what it is and there are better places for Bengali food elsewhere. But being that I'm a tourist, perhaps this can be a splurge meal on one of my last night's and I can manage my expectations and make it more about the ambiance and experience of going to the restaurant, rather than it actually being about quality.
Thoughts?
And if there are other Bengali/Bangladeshi restaurants you think I should check out instead, let me know. I realistically can't go to all of the restaurants of interest in London , but wouldn't mind checking something out as a novel experience once. I'll be visiting Brick Lane and know one could find some amazing food around there too.

Obviamente la confronté y ella me dijo que lo había hecho por venganza hacía mí, porque en ese entonces estaba enojada conmigo, y le pregunte por qué si yo estaba buscando arreglar las cosas (como siempre, aunque no la cague yo necesariamente), luego me dijo que fue un impulso, pero tampoco fue una respuesta que me convenció. Decidí perdonarla esa vez ya que me lloró y me rogó para que no la terminara por mucho tiempo; sin embargo hace poco se lo volví a preguntar, porque fue un hecho que me afecto bastante en cuestión de autoestima y seguridad personal, dándome inclusive inseguridades que no tenía (como sentirme insuficiente para alguien), ella me respondió que lo hizo para que él le pasara los trabajos y exámenes, porque su grupo tenía las cosas primero que nuestro grupo. La verdad su respuesta me generó cierto asco hacia ella y me hizo verla como una fácil, porque pues le dijo que quería regresar con él solo por trabajos y exámenes. As a child, I only ever saw my mom on the weekends when she was too busy to do anything and every day my father came home from work to immediately sleep. I never talked to them to the point that I genuinely didn’t know my father’s name until I was twelve. I have an older brother who is 11 years older than me that I never interacted with either even though he lives in the house still. They tell me they gave me all the tools I needed to get ahead in life but I’m turning 23 this year and I still don’t know how to cook because they never let me learn and all I can make myself is ramen and egg salad. I’ve never had a job because they refuse to let me learn how to drive or to get a car. They say that they love me and they chose to adopt me but I didn’t even know I had two last names until I finally convinced them to let me get a non-driver ID this last December and I had to go and fix a majority of my legal documents because of it. I’m not allowed to go to college despite it being my dream to get a degree in my chosen field. I feel so ashamed by all of this, I’m essentially forced to be a loser and I have nothing at all to my name. I’m so tired of being forced to live like this, I want to actually have a life and be a person.
I have absolutely no relevant life skills whatsoever and the concept that I have to learn all of this under their roof is the most stressful thing I’ve ever experienced. However, I need to leave. I am no longer all that safe in my current community and I need to get out as fast as possible. Where am I supposed to start? There’s so much to learn and I need to get a job as fast as possible as well. I don’t know what I’m doing. Any advice would be helpful and so appreciated.
