Where do I even start. I am (F) in my first ever healthy relationship, ever.
I am asexual and I have always been (or at the very least, been on the ace spectrum for most of my life.) (He is also asexual)
I have had 3 ex bf’s before my current one and this one is the only one who has been able to make me feel safe.
Don’t get me wrong. I love him in so many ways that o can’t describe it’s just, why me? Why did he choose someone like me when there’s so many prettier girls?
Like, it feels so weird whenever I texted him. He tells me good morning / good night. He tells me how much he loves me. He always tells me how beautiful I look. He always reassures me. He also says how lucky he is to have me. He always talks to me with his brother / friends to the point where they get sick of it- He always tells me I’m enough. He listens to me whenever I wanna talk (serious or not)
Like wym I can talk to you without you getting mad at me? I can say no without you being angry at me? I can tell you about my day and you’ll listen? I can be stupid and brainrotted and you won’t tell me to shut up? I can talk to you about random things and you’ll have a smile? I can tell you my opinion and you won’t tell me I’m wrong? I can be affectionate with you and you won’t tell me “we’re in public, stop.”
I almost always cry whenever I’m with him because hes so handsome and amazing. Idk.
He’s also much skinner than me and im just, chubby tbh, I still don’t know what he sees in me. lol.
He says me being chubby is no issue to him, and whenever we cuddle he always seems to grab my stomach and love handles (in a respectful way) and I feel so weird. He actually likes that? He doesn’t feel ashamed of me?
I worried one day he’s gonna find someone much better than me. Prettier, happier, more caring, more loving, just more… normal. 🫤

it has just happened, we broke up. we were amazing for a year and the last month was just crazy.
i still love her like no one else, she’s amazingly funny, beautiful and caring. but when we argue, it becomes uncontrollable for both of us. after a few of these arguments since our 1 year, we finally snapped and broke up.
as much as i love her, why do i almost feel nothing? i know it’s real and it feels real but i just feel numb. i’m scared the feelings will hit me like a truck at some point and i don’t know what to do when that happens.

Baby only wants me (the sahm) all the time. She is 10 months old and has been increasingly attached to me (which of course I know is normal) but she won't even hang out with my partner (her dad) peacefully for even a small amount of time. She cries SO hard as soon as I walk away from her or leave in any capacity.
I love her more than anything and it's so sweet how much she loves me, but it's really hard not to have ANY time or space at all (not even 20 min) for myself, apart from when she's asleep. And even then, we cosleep, so I don't have enough room to even spread my body out. I don't even want to spend a lot of time away from her, but I can't go do anything for myself and enjoy it when I know she's just sobbing the whole time :(
Is this level of attachment normal? Anyone who can chime in on this with their experience? TIA
