Money’s tight. I’m waiting to start a new job next month.
We entered a therapeutic separation mid-December after he revealed he escalated to physical cheating months before. I lost my shit, quite frankly, and demanded money from him to leave and start a new life. So after three months of sobriety, he relapsed to “get back” at me. Mess, mess, mess.
We’ve stayed in couples counseling to work through some stuff that’s too delicate to talk about on our own. I decided I wanted to find a new place and sublet for six months, which my SA agreed was a healthy decision… but deep down, the prospect of me leaving is making him panic.
I have access to his phone now. And despite his so-called efforts with a CSAT, 12-step program and sponsor, I saw that he went back on Grindr after our talk. What he does is he downloads the app, deletes it and then saves guys’ numbers for later on Whatsapp. (As if I’m not gonna look there!) This morning I was leaving for a work trip and he was in the bathroom with his phone for 20 minutes — which I asked him not to do months ago — and instead of apologizing he was like, “You’re leaving anyway! Who cares!”
One of the reasons I want to move out is so that I don’t feel responsible for him anymore. I told him straight up, he’s not a safe person to be with so long as he’s in active addiction. And despite the moments when he’s sweet and helpful to me, which is most of the time, this nasty side comes out and disrespects me all over again. It doesn’t matter if I’m at home or out of town, he’ll act out anyway. When he says he wants to make it work I just don’t believe him. I think he just doesn’t want to be alone.

Disclaimer: I am not asking for any reassurance, just venting cause I'm annoyed with this anxiety. I don't even normally have anxiety about getting sick on a regular day.
I had some vacuum sealed veal filets that I pulled out of my freezer to thaw around the 10th. Then I came down with a really nasty cold virus that took me out for over a week and I didn't cook anything. While at the grocery store this past weekend I checked the shelf life on the same veal packs I had in the fridge at home to see how long they are good for unfrozen at the store and found out it's about 2 weeks. But for different reasons I still didn't have the chance to cook the veal for some days.
Tonight I finally cooked it, about a week and a half after removing it from the freezer. No slime, and it smelled the way vacuum packed meat always smells. But I can't shake the anxiety about getting sick from it even though I'm using all my logic to tell myself that it should be fine.

Hello, I'm a recently graduated RN. My RN program was in no way affiliated with PG and this is the first I've heard of them. About a week ago I started getting nonstop calls, I work evenings and due to the acuity of work I keep my phone on silent, I'll usually end my shift with a missed call from them and I'll wake up, around 10am or so with a missed call. I keep reporting spam and blocking but calls keep coming through.
I never contacted this school, and Nursing education was and is a shitshow, i don't intend to expand into a masters degree any time soon.
Anyone know how they got my information and how they're bypassing my block filter?

I'm being forced to leave my only safe space because I got bad grades, in subjects I can retake.
My college became my safe space after I changed my name, everyone there knew me and respected me, even the ones who didn't before. Right now I'm at 'home' and being forced to try to exchange courses, to stay here in my homecity and not comeback to my college's city.
I hate this because my own house isn't safe for me to exist, my mom doesn't respect me, my twin doesn't, only my younger sibling does. Now that I'm basically seeing someone too. I wish I had rebelled enough to get a job.

Darwinism and modern-day evolution theory seem to be against religion and the philosophy of non-white groups. On a large scale, it looks as if much of evolution and the existence of the earth and humans contradict Native and Dharmic beliefs. I'll preface that I am Jain, so in my scriptures and story, Earth and humans have always been around.
And really only the more modern and more secular people accept this theory of evolution? Often more liberal and secular in their beliefs, also which seems to be degrading our native cultures.
