2025.01.23 04:54 Adept_Block_1940 How to justify 1 year gap after job?
I took a sabbatical from my job in February 2024 owing to the job being monotonous and my mental health being deteriorated (not really because of the job, but it did play it's part). The sabbatical lasted till May 2024, after which I resigned from my job. I was diagnosed with ADHD, Anxiety Disorder and Secondary Dysthymia in May 2024 and started taking medications. I suffered greatly between the months of June and September as the doctors were figuring out what medications would work best for me. I've been falling in and out of preparation and I could not retain anything I learnt. I found the right medication by early October and I was able to prepare for CAT and OMETs for a solid month (barring one week during Diwali).
When taking the CAT exam I had a full-on anxiety attack to the point where I started hyperventilating and the invigilator had to calm me down and get me some water. Naturally my CAT score came out to be 62.5%le. I got treated for Anxiety in late November and OMETs went fairly well (NMAT: 217, SNAP: 80%le, XAT: 89.91%le).
I can't take pose my mental health struggles as a reason for the gap for obvious reasons. Pls suggest me what I can say to justify the gap.

P.S. I don't think these problems will significantly impact my academics in MBA as I've tackled academic challenges since I was a kid despite having this condition. Now that I have medications that will help me overcome it, I can see myself conquering it. So I don't have a doubt if MBA is for me or not, even if I have a doubt, I'm still gonna do a MBA.

Doctor already cut half my earlobe 2 years ago (you can see on the picture there's a cut on my ear) because he said it's infected (back then it was white), but it's back again after 1 year (like the pic on the comment, no white pus). I definitely will go to doctor, but do anyone knows what it is and experienced them before?

I am a Computer Engineering in the last semester of my senior year. As I went to my first classes this past week, I found that I needed a way to quickly take in the information that the professor was giving a lecture on.
I decided to go the personal route and create my solution.
A week in, I have finally finished setting up Selou, an application to solve this problem.
The user interface is simple - a text box with two buttons, a button to generate a multiple-choice quiz to paste your notes in, and a button to generate from PDF.
You will be able to try it out by pasting it with your notes for free!
You can also activate your account and get access to more features such as seeing all your quizzes and generating from PDF.

Could somebody help me with some bad lagging thats going on? About every minute or so, my game lags to something like 2 fps for a couple of seconds and then go back to full speed. I'm running it on a computer with a 4080 and a 24 core i9-13900H. Is it really my specs or is there a weird graphics setting I'm not seeing? I've looked online a bit but mostly the solutions involve adjusting parallex and frame skipping, which haven't helped. I would SUPER appreciate anyones help.

Last night I had many dreams, but of these many dreams one of them was me seeing a good friend of mine and his appearance was different, he gained some weight but he looked happy and I hugged him and told him looked great. Water was just leaking out of my eyes like a fountain very similar to crying but we smiled and the dream ended. I woke up and checked my phone seeing a text that my friend in my dream had died in a shootout while I was asleep. I check the news and there it is I see my friend really is dead, I’ve been tripping out since just thinking of how tf this happened, could it have been his spirit telling me goodbye in my dreams… never experienced anything like this but I’m wondering if anyone has had anything similar happen to them.

I find that whenever I get something I want to write about, I sit down and completely write a song that already exists in the back of my mind. I have never had any sort of original melody idea or anything similar and it’s been frustrating.
Usually I’ll sit down, create a progression, create a rhythm, and create a melody just to realize I’m completely copying every single detail of a song I’ve already heard. It’s extremely frustrating because it’s happened almost every single time I’ve tried to write a song. Any advice?
