I know this isn't a major issue, and we even have a tip in the installation wiki:
"Tip: Normally, adb will report Total xfer: 1.00x, but in some cases, even if the process succeeds, the output will stop at 47% and report adb: failed to read command: Success. Sometimes it might report adb: failed to read command: No error or adb: failed to read command: Undefined error: 0, which is also fine."
But my question is—why does this happen? What's the technical reason behind ADB stopping at exactly 47%? It's not life-threatening or anything, but it bugs me. What causes ADB to stop mid-progress and still return "success"?

I recently replayed Megaman X5, and something struck me: the game feels noticeably easier compared to X4, especially in terms of how much power you’re given from the start.
First, X starts the game with the Fourth Armor already unlocked, giving him significant advantages like a charged plasma shot, air dash, and reduced damage intake. On top of that, the Fourth Armor allows X to charge special weapons, giving him powerful options early in the game. For example, after defeating Izzy Glow, X can fire a massive laser beam with the charged version of the F-Laser. Similarly, the charged version of the C-Shot surrounds X with energy blades, providing both offense and defense at the same time.
Meanwhile, Zero has access to his air dash right from the beginning, making platforming and evasion much easier compared to X4, where neither character could air dash at the start.
On top of that, Zero’s most powerful technique in X5, the C-Sword, is unlocked after defeating Grizzly Slash, arguably one of the easiest Mavericks in the game. C-Sword absolutely shreds bosses and even trivializes Duff McWhalen, who happens to be C-Sword’s weakness. Beating Duff then unlocks the invincible air dash (F-Splasher), which makes navigating levels even safer. Continuing this chain, Squid Adler goes down easily with the invincible dash.
Compare this to X4, where X starts with no armor at all, and both X and Zero lack air dashes from the start. Unlocking upgrades feels like a much bigger deal because you’re starting from scratch. Furthermore, several bosses in X4 feel harder, especially as Zero, due to the lack of reliable weaknesses: • Web Spider, Magma Dragoon, and Slash Beast don’t have weaknesses for Zero. • Jet Stingray’s weakness is Hyouretsuzan, but he’s in the air for most of the fight, making it hard to land. • Raijingeki, another key ability for Zero, has a long animation time that often leaves you wide open for counterattacks.
Don’t get me wrong, X5 is still a fun game, but the power creep is real compared to X4.

I just learned that silicone gels and patches are used on scars in part because they help decrease collagen that makes scars form. Would that also apply to skincare products that contain silicones, thus making aging happen more rapidly? I just found a sunscreen that is primarily silicones, and so far I like the feel of it, but don't want to compromise collagen production in the long run. Many body lotions have dimethicone as their active ingredient also.
Is anyone knowledgeable about this???

Okay I know I’ll definitely get a lot of flack for even saying this, especially from the die hard Krissy fans. I’ve also been a fan of hers but I just can’t help but wonder if her sickness is really true or its Munchausen syndrome manifested.
The last thing that happened before her whole diagnosis was her whole issue with Nicko Falcis, her old manager, it came out where she even threatened to get him killed, and this was all recorded.
When Nicko won the case she suddenly went silent. I think it might’ve costed her some big deals and next thing you know she was sick, and started losing weight. at first I thought it was for the crazy rich asians part 2 role, but a sequel still hasn’t been brought up. I wonder if that whole issue costed her role? The filming is suppose to be this year 2025
I don’t know if its part of her whole manipulation, because if you look at her past disgruntled relationships with people, like her ex husband, bimby’s dad with the whole annulment, her stories seemed so embellished and twisted. So It doesn’t seem too far off that she’s faking this to the point of costing her whole health. Like she would purposely not eat, thus lowering her immune system. Like isang act talaga, kasi she’s not mentally well, or she psychotic.
I just thought it weird that she also kept changing doctors when she was at the states. Literally she moved from hospital to hospital. She didn’t have a permanent doctor. It seemed so performative, especially that she always seemed to share all her diagnosis. It felt off.
She’s smart and cunning, and I wouldn’t be surprised if since she’s moved back, thats she’ll come back and all is forgiven, kasi nga “kawawa sha right?”
I don’t know. I’ve always wondered about this.
