My (22M) best friend (23M) and I have been close for years. A while back, we both started liking this girl (22F). I always thought she was amazing, but he made the first move and started dating her. I was a little jealous at first, but I let it go because I valued our friendship and didn’t want to get in the way.
The thing is, while they were dating, the girl and I had a lot of flirty moments. It wasn’t anything physical—just teasing, playful banter, and lingering glances. I knew it was wrong, but it felt like harmless fun at the time. Still, I never intended to cross the line.
One day, my best friend and his girlfriend got into a big argument. She reached out to me, saying they had broken up and that she was upset and needed someone to talk to. I felt bad for her and wanted to be a supportive friend, so I invited her over to talk.
We ended up spending the whole night talking, and as the night went on, the vibe shifted. One thing led to another, and we slept together. At the time, I thought it was okay because she told me they had broken up.
But a couple of days later, I found out they never actually broke up. Apparently, they had just been in a rough patch, and she exaggerated the situation to me. I was shocked and didn’t know what to do. She told me to keep it a secret, and I agreed because I didn’t want to blow up their relationship or destroy my friendship.
Since then, I’ve been carrying this huge weight and also starting to see her in a different light of guilt. I feel terrible for betraying my best friend, but I also feel stuck because if I come clean, I’ll ruin everything between us. I’m starting to see her in a different light now too, because I feel like she manipulated me by lying about their breakup.
At the same time, I know I’m not innocent in all of this. I could have said no. I could have asked more questions to confirm the situation. I could have respected their relationship, even if they were on bad terms.
So now I’m torn. Should I confess and risk losing my best friend and completely wrecking their relationship? Or do I stay silent and try to move on from this?

That is God the son and God the Holy Spirit. They’re are 2 separate persons yet equal in divinity. When we are filled with the Holy Spirit we know Jesus, then we can become like Him through grace. The Holy Spirit we are filled with is His Holy Spirit not ours, and His job to even come to us. It’s impossible to think we’re equal to God in that way. My new employment stated they had benefits but I didn't get details before starting. Turns out there is no dental coverage. Is this more the norm in Alberta or is my company just cheap? I work at a company who sell AWS services combined with managed offerings. Coming from a non-technical background (5+ years), I currently handle billing, BoQs, and solutioning (via the AWS pricing calculator). I am fresh MBA graduate (~6 months). I joined this company as a Management Trainee. I got this role as a Product executive as the team was looking to immediately find a replacement for someone who left the company. Having finished my CLF-02 certification, they took the bet with me. As of now, i have been doing a decent job and I am liking the role.
My company is a sales company selling tech/IT services. I’ve realized I don’t want to pursue hardcore sales (cold calling, chasing targets). Instead, I want to transition into solutioning or business consulting within the AWS ecosystem. At 30, I do realise am a little late for this but i think its worth a shot. I wanted to have a 2-year plan to develop the technical and strategic skills needed to make this shift.
