2025.01.23 05:38 Worried_Frosting115 UHF ATV app and Tivimate review
Had UHF app for a while on and 1st generation ATV I bought back in 2019. The app is pretty good but I found the picture is not smooth and jitters a lot. There are just some annoying bugs that make the app a little frustrating to use but it was the best I found for ATV.
I recently purchased a new google TV streamer and paid for Tivimate. This app just works nicely and when changing channels if much faster then UHF. Also rearranging channels and editing EPG’s is so much easier on Tivimate. Tivimate has some extra features like Recording which UHF doesn’t do. And for the life time payment is $10 less.
Overall if you only have ATV then UHF would be my recommendation but if you have a google streamer I would go with Tivimate. It’s my go to now. The ATV will go into retirement.
Last thing I must stress the if you have a Generation 3 ATV this maybe a totally different scenario and the app may work much better.
Just b thought I’d share my personal experience with the 2 apps.

-from pretending you can no longer hear the customer
-purposely disconnecting after 1+ hours to get no where / no rectification (time is priceless, and I really don't appreciate my time on this Earth being wasted / toyed with
-hiring CSRs whom barely speak a lick of English which causes confusion and context to get lost in translation
-keeping customers on hold for over 45 minutes, only to get disconneced after all that waiting?
C'mon Bezos man, get your people in order - you're purposely wasting too many people's time (which again, is priceless and we can never get back - kinda like a refund from Amazon.com.ca)
You steal 100's of Thousands, if not Millions of Dollars monthly due to lying about returns not being returned, frustrating customers purposely with your absolutely terrible Customer Service Team, and teaching the teachers that teach the CSRs these tactics, is nothing short of a definitive sign of a shitty, greedy individual whom is blinded by GREED.
If I, as an individual were to pull half the shit you get away with, I would get charged and go to Jail - but because you're a Business and/or Corporation, you're able to essentially hide behind the name Amazon and no individual goes to jail, gets charged....atleast not an amount that would sum to anything fisable for such crimes.
To me, this is extremely cowardly and a sure sign of a shifty, greedy individual.
Well, Karma is a bitch - enjoy that.
