I was visiting some family in NYC and it's clear that the foreign born population has grown exponentially since the beginning of the century.
NYC these days is little more than a dumping ground from the slums of the world. Go to Manhattan or Brooklyn and you would be forgiven for thinking you were in the most backwater slums of Palermo or Warsaw. Unsanitary conditions, children playing with their own ethnic group, speaking broken English and mostly Italian, Yiddish, Polish, or god knows what else.
I even saw fights break about between some polish and Italian kids.
Go further up to Harlem and it's even more appalling. Every week, loads of uneducated Irish military aged men come here with no skills and no plans. They are taken in by Irish political machines that provide them a place to stay and a job- in exchange for them voting for particular candidates that represent Irish voters.
I guess this is where it ends. Just different ethnic groups balkanizing and voting in their own interests, no cultural cohesion, no real ties to the land. This is what happens when you bring in people who are not founding stock Americans.
It was fun while it lasted.

I'm using 2a, it's been 7 months and it's working perfectly fine. Nowadays whenever I get notification the glyph light stays on,( it's not uber or Zomato tracking feature), I get notification glyph appears and it stays on , I try to increase or decrease the volume to switch it off. Me and my husband have been waiting for years for hik to get his work visa. We'll we got it the other day and he was told by everyone of his workers and 2 of his mangers one being the owner it was okay for him to grab it. He was fired we he got it. He worked for this family for 20 years this place 2 . His current job likes to just take advantage of the illegals they hire. They pay the ones on the kitchen 100 a week he told me and refuse to give them breaks and have them clock out and still work for break. My husband was paid less. His manager realized he would lose control same guy who had a affair with his employees who ended up getting his brother the owners business in trouble due to it. He went to get it and in a last dish of control the guy fired him. His suposibe friend of 20 years.. my husband doesn't care that he's fired we have money in the bank that is to go to a car because I can't drive due to a disability.
Lately it's just been one disappointment after another with my husband I'm no saint but I'm so tired all the time. . Our days go like this I wake up at 3 5 days a week walk 20 minutes to work work 8 to 9 hours and then go home and im so tired I rott in bed and watch TV. Some days I cook some days I don't. I have to do the shopping and remember about the majority of the stuff. My husband's days look like him well he went to work at 6 or 8 before he was fired went to bed at 230 am gamed all night in our bedroom where I was constantly woken up worked came home gamed more and maybe spent a hour a day with me. The rest was him hanging out with his gaming buddies. We have had a extra room where I have had planned for over a year to turn it into a gaming room so I can sleep ive cleaned as much as I could but I needed big stuff moved and that was his job it used to be our old roomies room. He put it off for over a year. That's a year of me nagging him to do it so I could sleep . He also changed our internet and refused to send the router everytime I "nagged" to him about he said he'd do it don't worry and then it went to well ill just pay the fee.
Well he now has no job and wants to take a week off for vacation he had like3 weeks on last 2 months why do you need a new one . I am struggling im autistic tired and I have no energy. I work and sleep and struggle. He told me wheb he told his job he could get a job fast he'd ask his connections and would have one fast.
Now he is refusing to work in any type of food field he doesnt drive so he said he is applying to 5 places and that's it basically. I can not afford to pay all our bills my job doesn't pay that much. I won't be able to afford everything and we will be cutting into our savings.
I'm pissed because when we came into money my husband said he'd pay 15k of it into his work visa and we'd get me a wedding ring finally after 4 years we'd get a honeymoon and I'd get a few things I agreed to put off . We'll now I don't get that and I get to pay that extra bill of the router he refused to turn in. He told me that if he doesn't find a job he told me there's jobs everywhere he should get one fast as everyone is hiring then he'd work food after 2 months.
I'm just so upset so disappointed what makes matters worse anytime I complain about it he tells me he did it for me. He did it when he was making up to 1k a week we had roommates who were supposed to be paying. I have to pay everything. Divorce will likely be how this will end
