So where I live the weather has been very cold. Before it got cold my cars battery bars where always full now when I start the car in this weather 2 bars are missing and haven’t appeared since. Before this last week, I have never really been interested in anyone more than platonically. But a few weeks ago, a new student came to my class. He just moved from Brazil and speaks mostly Portuguese. At first, I thought nothing of it. "That’s kind of cool, I guess." Over the past few days, he hasn't left my mind. I catch myself staring at him in class and one time he even caught me (which made me feel soooo embarrassed). I keep thinking about his curly brown hair. He's also super smart. He raises his hand every chance he gets, even if he doesn't know how to fully explain in English. One time, he even started talking about stuff way ahead of our curriculum. One of my close friends sits next to him, and she's started talking to him to make him feel more welcome. She says he's really nice. So, at the chance of geting to know him more, I've started talking to my friend when he's around her. I don't think it's working, though. He gets pretty quiet when I try to join the conversation. I don't know how to handle this. Part of me thinks I like him, the other part sometimes gets the ick (e.g. he always wears skinny jeans). I don't have any thoughts of romance between us. I don't really want to have a romantic relationship before we get to know each other in general. I mean, I barely know anything about him. Plus, I'm nervous to tell anyone. What if it's just a one-off thing and my friends make it weird for no reason? Please help me decide what to do. Sorry for the long post!!!

Hello, in June 2024 i noticed dark spots in my forehead, I really noticed then one morning and the day before they were bit there. One or two days before I did something wrong, I rubbed my forehead with something plastic to clean my pores, it got red. I don't know if it has something to do, I think so but it's been 7 months and those marks are still there. The dermatologist told me it's melasma but I have never been pregnant or taken birth control, he also asked me if I sunbathed a lot but no, I try not to, I went to the beach in February 2024 but I used sunscreen of course. He prescribed Glicoisdin 10 soft and c-concentrate by Bioderma (glicólic acid and vitamin c). It has bit worked at all. I decided to introduce azelaic 10, I've been using it alternating with vitamin C, one day but C and then the other day azelaic. I want to introduce tretinoin 0.025 because I used it already but I need a prescription. Also, I don't know if these spots happened because I used tretinoin and maybe in the next morning the sun hit my face before washing my face. I'm really sad about this, my skin was flawless, beautiful. This is not me and it's affecting me every single second. Please help me, I don't know what to do. I am currently in Canada for few months so it's not that easy to see a dermatologist but I will find the way.
