Hello. My husband is 29 years old 6 foot 190 lbs. He is currently working near the LA fires restoring power, last week we saw him on Wednesday, by Friday my daughter and i were sick and tested positive for Covid yesterday. He has felt sick since Monday with what we assumed was covid.
Today his throat was hurting so bad he compared it to swallowing glass so I advised he go to urgent care. He tested negative for flu A/B, strep and Covid. His vitals were all good aside from his temperature was 99.1 but I know this isnât high.
His medical history: in August he was hospitalized with EBV, we did not know it was EBV until he was discharged but he was extremely sick and jaundiced during this time. His liver panel levels returned to normal a few months later. Iâm not sure if this is relevant but wanted to mention it.
Is it possible his Covid test is inaccurate? Or it could just be some other virus causing this? My concern is that he is working in the fire areas with what I imagine is poor air quality etc and wondering is this is impacting it.
I have extreme anxiety surrounding his health after his hospitalization and feel very worried.

Thereâs a bundle deal for 2 double cheese burgers and a basket of fries. I always order 2 for me and my brother, There was a time I doordash McDonaldâs a good amount because it was late and I couldnât drive, also the delivery fee is usually $0. At first I got my order correct 100% and if anything was missing it was something small like maybe a mcchicken I ordered on the side. Recently tho they have been forgetting the 2nd fry basket. It annoys me because itâs almost everytime now, they should know because they still but 4 burgers but only 1 fry basket. It clearly says on the order 2 cheesburger and basket of fries x2. At first I gave them the benitit of the doubt Iâm thinking they donât read it right. This happens so much when I report it the app is saying they noticed I am constantly having problems. I am kinda worried they will think Iâm lying and stop giving me my credits. I havenât contacted McDonaldâs Directly about this or wrote a review which I should, but if it happens again I definitely will call the store and let them know to carefully read the order. I donât want to be an asshole but I want my fries. (Sorry for my bad grammar)

I spent a season at Mt. Rainier, and wow, itâs a disgrace that company is running such an amazing place into the ground
If you arenât in the âcliqueâ with management itâs a nightmare. Housing is terrible, management is belittling to everyone,especially the exchange students they treat like disposable help, and I didnât meet a single person who was enjoying their time there. Almost everyone was on the verge of quitting, which is why I think they rely so hard on J1 program students, since itâs harder to leave.
My breaking point was when a man literally set up a camera in front of the womenâs rest room and filmed all who went in and out. When I told my manager and pointed him out, her response was a long talk about how âthese rooms are expensiveâ
Emailed HR and got no response, and eventually pushed to have a sit down with the general manager about the problems I had. She brought my manager into the meeting, and immediately just recited my email in front of her, then basically said thatâs how it is, and to stop wasting her time, since I forced a 10 minute meeting, which obviously some huge inconvenience for her
This company and the management is horrible, and is ruining an otherwise amazing park and inn. DO NOT work for them. They need to have their contract pulled immediately, which I doubt will happen as long as they can abuse J1 students for profit
Iâd be happy to answer more questions to anyone curious about this place
