It has recently come to my attention that there is a Netflix Series called “The Program”. It tells the very sad story of many previous students of a somewhat reform school for teenagers called “Ivy Ridge” and the horrible things that were taught and encountered there. SPOILER Basically, these are not schools created to help youth improve their behavior, but a scheme to get rich and use forms of mind control and abuse on “students”. The reason I’m posting here is because it’s mentioned multiple times that the founder and co-founder of these horrific “schools” are supposedly members of church. And the lawyer that helped make it so impossible to get these schools shut down is also a member. I’m unaware if any or all are current members of the church. It’s concerning considering the bad press already going around about the church and how all that’s happening in these schools goes against almost everything we believe in. Not to mention, many are still located and running in the state of Utah. Has anyone else heard about these schools and the horror stories that go on there? I would imagine many members may be serving in them as well if they are based in Utah, though I know that there are many in other countries a this point. Paris Hilton has come out and shared some of her experiences at various schools similar. But there isn’t much being done at the moment. Is there a way to shut these schools down/is anyone else aware of this?

Hello everyone.
I am intending to travel to Czech Republic with my husband this March. This will be my first international travel and I am a very paranoid traveller in general. I am reading through every material available, seeing YouTube videos, and websites to understand how can we make most of this trip. The way I’m planning my itinerary is 1. We land on 14th March at Prague airport. I was wondering if we could go to Brno that day and then was planning on booking a half day tour on 15th to Movarian Karst and the Punka caves. 2. On 15th evening travel to český Krumlov and stay till 16th afternoon. 3. On 17th going to Karlovy Vary and then Kutna Hora through 18th 4. From 19th to 23rd intend to stay in Prague.
Where I needed help was 1. Can I learn a little bit Czech in next 2 months? Will it help my trip? 2. What modes of public transport should I sign up for apart from the private tours by locals. 3. What should I consider while planning this? 4. Any cultural nuances I should be aware of while visiting places?
I would really really appreciate any guidance from the people who live there. Thank you so much in advance.

2025.01.23 05:39 random_xx21 Mask wearing is horrible (among others).
Context: job requires mask wearing since 2020. I've always hated wearing those that loop around the ears. At the end of the day my jaw is so sore, presumably from constantly pushing it off my face so I don't feel it on my cheeks. I was constantly uncomfortable. I found out that masks that can be tied are much more forgiving. Does anyone know what I mean..?
I was suspecting I might be some sort of ND due to similar symptoms but when I went for ADHD testing it came back negative as the ADHD-like symptoms I've mentioned were said not to have been as present during childhood. And also I scored above average on most of the components of the WAIS IV and some other memory recall test. I was pretty disappointed by that. It was recommended that I could try ASD testing but I don't think I even want to encroach on a space that is definitely not mine.
However I always felt kind of different from others in the sense that my tolerances of senses are extremely narrow. I hate physical touch. There are times my partner puts their hand on mine and I feel that's too much. "Don't touch me I don't like that right now." I don't like kisses. But I do love kissing my pets. I love petting their fur.
I hate if I feel fabrics ( that are not the clothes on my body) on my skin in bed. I.e. I hate blankets. I don't even like the feeling of wind on my skin at night. I prefer all the windows shut with no AC or fan. I can feel every strand of hair that's on my face blowing due to a fan and I can't have that either.
I can only tolerate very specific white noises. I can't even tolerate my own tinnitus nor my partner's breathing in bed. So we do separate rooms.
I've always hated candles. I hate most perfumes. They give me migraines. I hate most scents as well. I gag really easily.
I hate the texture and taste of..watermelon. I hate swallowing liquid medicine. It feels like cement down my throat.
With all this being said i'm still pretty functional as a whole. It seems like I'm always just missing the mark of a..disorder, so to speak, but I don't feel "normal" either. My family has always said I'm really hard to live with. Which I agree. I guess I'm just looking if anyone feels the same way.

Say you have 5000 coins and you upgrade an item for 4000. After the upgrade, the list still shows you items you could've upgraded with your 5000 coins, not your current 1000. To update the list, you have to switch to a different menu and come back, which gets annoying. Maybe make it so that it auto-updates according to your current coins?

Hey guys, having a bit of trouble. I want to have a single product available on a page, attached to the single SKU. Then when customers choose the buy 2 get 1 free option on the same page, actually want a different SKU to be chosen (one which i will create which is 3 of the same product grouped together). What can i use to achieve this in a way that looks nice? I thought kaching would be good, but it doesnt allow multiple SKUs on the same bundle. Any help appreciated!

 | I never had acne issues other than the occasional pimple(s) as a teenageyoung adult yet in the past year or so at 28 y/o my face has become awful 😞 I got an extraction facial once about a year ago and she suggested the acne might be hormonal. I’m not on BC or anything and don’t want to start it. Currently I use a benzoyl peroxide wash, azelaic acid cream exfoliant (?), a salicylic acid serum, and either a benzoyl peroxide lotion or a basic gel moisturizer. I’m someone who gets decision paralysis/overwhelmed by options so I just don’t know where to begin 😞 I fear that I doomed myself to permanent scarring in the second pic - is there any way to get ride of that?
