I(20F) have always gotten along quite well with my parents and I used to be quite close with my dad (42M) especially. In the past couple of years my brother (17M) has unfortunately "fallen into the wrong crowds" so to say. My brother has Autism and ADHD and has always struggled socially and academically but he is so smart in many other ways and used to have hyper-fixations on things such as reptiles and knew everything there is to know about them.
A couple of years ago unfortunately he found a group of "friends" who got him into things like drugs and steeling and this became his new fixation and he did anything to get my parents to allow him to go and get stoned and overall make poor decisions with these people. We live out of town on property so he didn't have anywhere to go within walking distance. When my parents would refuse to take him anywhere he would threaten to hurt others or himself. My dad works away a lot so often my mother and I would cop most of the threats and it would be really scary.
At first I was understanding and just wanted to help him but it's impossible to help someone who doesn't want to be helped. It got to the point where it was just hurting me and my mental health to deal with it and I felt I couldn't give my opinion to my parents because they would just reply with "it's not your place to tell us how to parent" so l would just remove myself from home when things would happen and I felt insanely guilty for it but there was nothing I could do.
The only way to get through to my brother and to stop him from being violent is to give in to what he wants and my dad always did that for him. About 6 months ago, my brother moved in with his girlfriend and lived in an absolute mess amongst bed bugs and other unknown diseases while all they did was drugs. I think this experience has turned my brother off the drugs now and he has been back home for about a month but he has been a nightmare to live with again. He still gets whatever he wants when he wants and treated like he is special. He treats me like absolute shit, always swearing at me and threatening me just because I am in the same room while I refuse to talk to him because I know I will be the one that gets in trouble.
The other day I snapped. My brother was being rough with and saying really mean things to my dog and I told him to "stay the fuck away from my dog, I don't want you anywhere near him with the way you treat people", well he lost it and the threats started rolling in and telling me how much he hates me and that I should harm myself. I just left to my boyfriend's house and cried because he is still my brother and the way he treats me hurts because I still care about him and know he is capable of being a better person.
Later on, my dad called me to tell me I should be more caring towards my brother and that all he wants is a nice relationship with his big sister. I told him "The way he treats people is messed up and the way you let him walk all over you is sad. You should just ship him off to boarding school so someone can actually teach him how to have a little bit of respect" and hung up. Now we have not talked for a couple of days.
I know this is a really long and wordy post but it's so hard to explain with all the history. I know I might have been harsh but it's hard to sit back and let my relationships with my parents and brother fall apart. Am I the asshole?

Hat jemand eine Ahnung, wie ich das Teil wieder auseinanderbekomme. Möchte das Teil retournieren und bekomme das so nicht in den Karton zurück. Ich muss beim Zusammenbau das Teil vom Stuhl nur auf den Metallstab legen und das schwarze Teil unter dem Metallstab in das Gestell der Füße, aber ich bekomme nichts davon wieder ab. I’m currently 4mo pp and have been pumping 8x/day since day 1. I decided to drop a pump when I found out I was pregnant again to try and get a little more rest. I’m still doing my 11pm (for his dream feed) and 4am pump but I noticed a steady decrease in my supply. Right now I’m down an average 4oz which is frustrating because I was a just enougher. Is there any way to drop a pump and NOT lose supply? Or is that just the reality for some people? I thought it would be safe to drop one now since my milk supply should have been regulated by now.

i’m travelling to Berlin for work in February. I’ll have the last week of February and the first week of March to travel around Europe. I was wondering which is the best place to go in this season right now. I preferably would want to rent a car to move around, but the issue is. I’m 19 right now. So most places don’t even rent me a car. What’s the best place for me to visit for road trip and if not road trip, at least extremely scenic views that’s what I care about most.

Usually said when I point out I dislike the way a specific guy is talking to me/treating me.
Like, one of the guys in my uni class who's aware I don't like him, but can't think why that might be, so concludes that I must just hate all men, even though I'm best friends with one of the other lads in our class and we share food n notes n shit. He can't comprehend that I just can't stand him and his sexist "my woman back home cleans, not me" ass.
I just hate sexist assholes who think it's okay to be a dick to me because I'm a woman in a blue collar field. Literally, why do I have to be a conduit for all women's wrongs just because I'm a woman in his general vicinity on site?
I think he also thinks just cuz I don't want to suck his dick, because I'm a lesbian and I'm in a happily committed relationship of nearly 3 years, that I must "hate all men". Why does this guy and guys like him think that just cuz I don't want to have sex with a guy, that must mean I hate him? This point is in reference to the fact that he pointed out that I'm a lesbian and I don't "like" men, and he keeps bringing it up and being weird and kinda creepy about it. Like, I can still say I love fictional male characters, I just don't want to sleep with a real human man, but he seemingly doesn't understand this...
I'm speaking about my personal experience with assholes at uni, not all men. I hate that I even have to clarify that, but some insecure asshole on here will extrapolate what I'm saying and be like "not all men are like that" when I've literally given a clear example of specifically what I'm talking about and examples of how I know it's "not all men"... ffs the guys who feel the need to clarify that before they even read the post are insecure af, but that's a different pet peve 🤣
Well, I've gotten it off my chest now. Let's commiserate together, eh reddit?
